I hope hulk gets his own movie again but they actually focus on hulk too and his character so him and Bruce are equals

Yeah, part of me wanted hulk to eventually get kinda outta control in avengers so they can send him off to planet hulk (is that the storyline?) But, that being said, I still want another hulk movie and hulk needs to be as much of a character (personality and speaking wise) as banner usually gets to be. I dont know about the comics but i like how they did it in EMH...doesnt banner make an agreement with hulk so hulk can pretty much be out most of the time?

Whedon probably wouldn't direct a solo Hulk film (or any other avenger solo film) be I think he'd be down with writing the screenplay

Yeah and I'm sure that's part of the reason as others have said on this board is why the hulk movies have not been that popular because when he doesn't have any character to him he is just a green monster that smashes things which is why it doesn't appeal to the general audience as much

agreed, the audience should really get the feeling that banner has DID, and that hulk really hates being trapped inside banner.

I liked the hulk in EMA..they made him seem like good guy and compassion..i get feeling this might be one of the best hulks we've seen so far even though I did like edward norton in TIH

I would love for Marvel to just ink Whedon exclusively as the Avengers director. I can only hope that the change in directors for Thor, IM, and Cap will pan out and give us solid movies that keep up with the awesomeness Avengers will more than likely bring us.

Kenneth Branagh is staying on as a producer for Thor 2 though, from what I've read, so if that is the case, I am happy for that.

I don't see how you can have that now after Avengers if Hulk is played up as a hero.

A totally cool scene is if we see Hulk get mobbed by a bunch of aliens and after all the dust clears, we see him walk out, smiling, then throwing down a helmet and saying "Hulk....smashed."

Well, *hopefully* it will be "Banner and Hulk both find a place in the world", with Banner as a SHIELD-affiliated scientist, and the Hulk as a raging monster that has found some actual friends and comrades.

Yes, this would mean you can't do more "Banner on the run from the world" plots in any future movies, but honestly, that's totally fine by me. If a Hulk sequel is ever made, it should have the Leader as a villain, and he can do stuff that requires Banner and Hulk to work against, even with SHIELD help.

While this would be pretty cool, I highly doubt it, from what we've seen so far, it looks like Hulk is just pure rage and energy, jumping all over the place, I'm thinking he's not gonna take a break if he sees even one alien still standing. Hulk vs Leviathan is going to be monumentally awesome!

Note that his actions include rescuing a fellow Avenger and standing back-to-back with his teammates. While the Hulk may not be eloquent, he's clearly intelligent enough to work as part of a team.
