You never told me you met Molina! JERK. Or at least had an autograph.
I love those statues! Are the tentacles fragile? Looks like they may be.

Met Molina, I wish! I had to order that baby from the Celebrity Signings people. But it's so cool knowing I've got his autograph. I've got a photo he held in his hands once.

My precious :oldrazz:

The tentacles are fragile on most of them except for the big Doc Ock bust on the bottom right shelf. They are made out of metal and are very sturdy. Makes the bust weigh a ton though.

Also the Ock bust on the top shelf, second from the left, those tentacles are made out of a soft kind of plastic that allows you to bend them into all kinds of poses.

Please. :D
I still prefer Batman and Batman Returns honestly, but yeah I like the new ones too. I have the Movie Masters Batman, Joker, Scarecrow, and Two-Face in another area of my room haha. I also bought the Two-Face bobblehead from TDK (Two-Face is my favorite villain).

Very cool. You should post up that collection in the Batman boards.

Yeah that statue wasn't really well marketed? I remember seeing it once before SM3 came out on the internet, but it's like they never came out with it lol. I don't see them much on ebay.

If I ever saw that statue, I'd wanna get it but never saw it. It looks much better than the other ones, imo. I mean, if S-M 3's Venom had raised webbing, they should look like what that statues shows which is actual RAISED webbing, lol. I mean, I'm not a fan of that Venom's look, but it looks more adapted to the look of Venom on the film.

Doc Ock, Green Goblin and Magneto...you need Doctor Doom and you'd have the greatest villains in the Marvel universe.

The only thing I have from the Spidey movies is a plush Spidey thats hanging from a nail on the wall. :(

Here's some of my collection. Of course, Spidey wise, this isn't even a fraction of it lol. I also have a few other statues from Spider-Man 3 not pictured, but maybe I will upload them another day. It almost looks like I'm strictly a Spider-Man 3 fan lol, but honestly, if I found statues/busts of Goblin and Ock, I'd have them too.

Fantastic!! I remember seeing parts of your collection over the years including your Venom busts. :spidey:

I seriously need to take a picture of my collection soon. I have SOOO much stuff that is on display as well as packed away.

It also would have been a plot hole, Why would his fusion reactor not work the first time but then work the second time?

Well, the idea would be that Otto actually fixed the problems with his previous fusion reactor.

Well, the idea would be that Otto actually fixed the problems with his previous fusion reactor.

Then he wouldn't have needed to be influenced by the tentacles into rebuilding it, would he? He initially accepted he miscalculated but the arms convinced him that he had not.

Looks like a foodchain. Venom wants Venom and he wants Spidey. :D

He repeated the same experiment with the same materials and same calculations. In this case, it's what you call an exact science. If you don't change your variables then there's no reason for it not to work. The only difference was he increased the size of the reactor.

That's why it would have made no sense for it to fail the first time and work the second time, unless he changed something about the experiment. But the whole point was that Ock believed he had got it right and it worked, that's why he wanted to rebuild it.

And I totally agree with you :yay:

I just try to figure out for myself "what if" and "why"...And it's not what I think mainly about that experiment what I wrote.
Well, what I am pointing at is the extremely unlikely, but not impossible accident. That the second attempt could perhaps work, because of some tiny particle, some little fluctuation in that different setting, the reactor size etc. Some of that or in addition could change that crazy powerful reaction, therefor it is so uncontrollable.
Does it at least make a little sense what I'm writing?:woot:

Now what happens if, as I suggested earlier, Norman impales Peter before expositing his plans, so that Spider-Man never gets the second wind?

Oh, now that would be great. I had fun over the years reading the "What if?...." stories.

Agreed. It's a fun concept. The idea of alternate outcomes for different choices and courses of events is fascinating to me. To this end, I love the idea of "What If..." stories in the way that recalls the Schrödinger's cat thought experiment. It's wonderful, thought-provoking quantum physics fun.
