I've lost almost everything I bought, except for a few t-shirts.

I have some action figures, like the Super-Posable Spider-Man from Spider-Man 2.

No they didn't. So why name him that?

Brock was never called "Venom".
Dent was never TRUTHFULLY called "Two-Face".
Oyama was never called "Deathstrike".
I'm sure there's plenty of other examples. It happens all the time.

I made these wallpapers for my phone (Droid). Unfortunately, I could not fit Sandman and New Goblin in. Ah well.

Then I made it black and white, which I am currently using.

You fixed the tears in the suit.

Like I said earlier, I think it's designed to bore the hero to death, or at least encourage suicide to escape the incessant babbling.

Why is it that we keep complaining about comic book movies not being close to the comics but when a character on film actually ACTS LIKE THE COMIC BOOK CHARACTER we bash that too?

Because there are such things at bandwagon fans.

And the fact that a good amount of people who hate Raimi's films have only read a specific number of comics. Not all are like that though.

But they were using the same alter-egos as in the comics. Calling Harry Osborn the "New Goblin" is pointless, especially if he doesn't look anything like a goblin. If he is to be a goblin, make him Green Goblin, and if not, don't use an alter ego.

Nothing Spider-Man did would be any more personal than what the board members did. They fired him from the very company he created. Spider-Man tried to intervene...and failed completely.

"I offered you friendship, and you spat in my face." Spidey snubbed his offer of an alliance, and as Peter Parker he stabbed Norman's son in the back-at least in his mind. Took all the love and adulation that Harry was denied while secretly undermining Norman at every turn.
Why are we looking for logical, rational behavior from characters who are clearly insane anyway?

Because this is something that has become cliché to point of being laughable.

Well, I haven't read nearly as many Spider-Man comics as some of you guys, but I love the Raimi films, in spite of their faults.

Why should he really care about the rejection of his offer of alliance? What is he, a 14-year old girl? Norman is a psychopath, not a psychotic.

No, he's both. He was willing to murder innocent children just to make a point.

Having a conversation with his reflection, having an argument with a mask, cackling to himself when he thought he was alone, finding joy in hearing an old woman say "Deliver us from evil".

And remember, "Parker must be educated. Instruct him in the matters of loss and pain." Hll, you'd have to be a nutbag to try to form a union with the guy who clearly opposes everything you stand for in the first place.

Norman was such a great villain in the films. William Dafoe did such a amazing job. I love how his influence stretched to the second and third movies.

Dent was never TRUTHFULLY called "Two-Face".

But the name Two Face was mentioned twice and in reference to it being a name Dent was given. "Why should I hide who I am?".

Even though I don't like Venom, it's crap that he never got named. Even Harry got the moniker of Goblin Jr.

Most villains are forgotten after they die.

Most villains don't have a son who is best friends with the hero.

For me, Willem Dafoe's performance in the first film was too hammy and cartoony as Green Goblin (I'd prefer a more menacing Green Goblin, personally), but he did a great job in the sequels.

Agreed.

Over the last couple of days, I rewatched the whole trilogy in HD for the first time (minus SM3), thinking it would spark my interest in the new movie. To be honest, it did the opposite. Maybe it's because I grew up with the Spider-Man movies, but I think I will forever be tied to the original series. There's just something about the characters and actors that makes the movies so enjoyable to watch. I just can't picture someone like Sally Fields giving an inspirational "There's a hero in all of us" speech. I will always think of Tobey as Peter Parker and James Franco as Harry..

I recently just watched all three a few weeks ago and it didn't affect my thoughts of the new one in any way. I guess I'm just weird.
