I usually buy games when they go half price, that's top I pay, for me a PC disc wasn't worth $37 when it's regular, and Web of Shadows disc was that price and it's double layer disc, I kind of went stupid and bought the PC disc of SM3 with around $50, think the game has great replay value for me as a Spider-Man geek, has notable replay value as a gamer. Reviews I think are too over the top, way over the top, I share some complaints, saw some have some other complaints my copy didn't suffer of, I can agree on complaining about these stuff a bit, most complaints are so bad and over the top I found this one to be the most underrated game, too badly flamed, some complain about some stuff here and love games with the same issue they complain about here, works fine here, but they are ten times or more folds in the games they love, but they don't acknowledge it
Game is great for a PC game, I don't think it holds as a PS3 game, it may be fine as a 360 port cause that one uses DVDs not Blu-Rays, but seeing how the XBOX360 is a current gen system with updates and stuff, I wouldn't recommend it much
I first wanted Spider-Man 2 for the PC, didn't know it was nothing as great as the PS2 game, only knew I wanted a Spider-Man game I saw some footage of and seemed encouraging. What I saw back then on the tube from SM3 wasn't encouraging, I liked visiting Harry's house, but wanted away as I saw what they did to Scorpion, Scorpion missions turned out to be some of my favorites
