One of the best parts of Spider-Man 2: The Game that I don't see commented on very often were the web attacks. SM2 had the best assortment of webbing-based attacks out of all the Spider-Man games (which I have played). I loved the intuitive simplicity of the directional web yank controls. Pressing the Web button and the analog stick in a particular direction to web yank, and rotating it for the Web Rodeo was awesome, and I think it should the standard for Spider-Man games.

If my 3D card was still working I'd make a video of all the web attacks from 3
Didn't feel combat watered down, some moves were turned to specials

I just didn't feel as in contro las I was with the 2nd game. It's hard to explain.

Personally, I never played Spider-Man 3: The Game. Is it worth the time and money?

^^ If you ask me, yes it is. It may not be as good sas the 2nd game (IMO), but you'll most likely REALLY enjoy it.

I usually buy games when they go half price, that's top I pay, for me a PC disc wasn't worth $37 when it's regular, and Web of Shadows disc was that price and it's double layer disc, I kind of went stupid and bought the PC disc of SM3 with around $50, think the game has great replay value for me as a Spider-Man geek, has notable replay value as a gamer. Reviews I think are too over the top, way over the top, I share some complaints, saw some have some other complaints my copy didn't suffer of, I can agree on complaining about these stuff a bit, most complaints are so bad and over the top I found this one to be the most underrated game, too badly flamed, some complain about some stuff here and love games with the same issue they complain about here, works fine here, but they are ten times or more folds in the games they love, but they don't acknowledge it

Game is great for a PC game, I don't think it holds as a PS3 game, it may be fine as a 360 port cause that one uses DVDs not Blu-Rays, but seeing how the XBOX360 is a current gen system with updates and stuff, I wouldn't recommend it much
I first wanted Spider-Man 2 for the PC, didn't know it was nothing as great as the PS2 game, only knew I wanted a Spider-Man game I saw some footage of and seemed encouraging. What I saw back then on the tube from SM3 wasn't encouraging, I liked visiting Harry's house, but wanted away as I saw what they did to Scorpion, Scorpion missions turned out to be some of my favorites

The S-M3 premiere was so huge. I remember it being on the news quite often, as it should be.

The only one who gave off genuine enthusiasm there was Topher. Bless him.

Anybody know if Hot Toys wil lbe releasing a Doc Ock or Green Goblin figure? The NEw Goblin, black suit Spidey, and calssic SPidey from S-M3 by Hot Toys are amazing, so I'm wondering if they are going to do others from the first 2 films?

They haven't showed any plans to.

I rmemeber when the added scene to this come out. I loved it, but tbh, I always felt the scene worked with and without the added segment.

Works better without. The camera shots are quite awkward, like the one where you see Ock getting hit and grunting, but there is no fist or anything hitting him. There is one other in there, too. Plus, the room feels like a studio room. It doesn't feel like an actually part of a building. It was a smart idea to get rid of the scene.

I had wondered what happened to the scene when they showed it being filmed on in the making of SPider-man 2 documentary back in 2004.

I'm curious to know what is your favourite Spider-Man movie from the trilogy. In special consideration of the ending, which part do you like the most singulary?:yay:

Spider-Man 2, no question. Great final swing, great villain, great acting (mostly), great fights, great effects.
