One of the worst things about the previous batman films was how he fell in love every movie and revealed his identity to a different chick in every film...its stupid...and batman wouldnt do that...he and Rachel should not "date" that isnt really how batman would work either...but she should be the closest thing he does have to a love interest.

We haven't seen Catwoman or Poison Ivy. Bruce Wayne is a ladies' man. I think Rachel is more like a sister but given Bruce has been lacking of affection most of his life...

This thing about knowing a girl since 6 y.o. and then fall in love with her forever... is so Peter Parker.

Btw, so far this new Batman is doing normal revealing his identity by his own will and with no bigger problem so far.

That's true. I accepted it because the relationship with Rachel was set up so that he would probably want her to know he isn't the sleaze he pretends to be. I think the thing that's going to have to happen is we're going to have to see him not reveal his identity to anybody from now on. LOL. I can accept it with Rachel if it's the ONLY time, in other words. KnowhatImean?

Nice picture Crooklyn. I actually felt Katie's enthusiasm towards the Batman franchise when she told the press at Beverly Hills with Michael Caine at her side that she loves to do Batman for 2 more if they will have her. But now her priorities have changed a lot because of her new baby (ofcourse I admire her more if she will put her family first and her career on hold) and she's now in demand too. Her publicist recently said she's getting many offers but Katie is making sure she is picking our meaty mature roles and she does not wonna disappoint her fans.
TPTB especially Nolan along with the cast-crew seem to really want her back and Im with them too. She's my favorite leading lady and female character-love interest in Batman.
Bale,the Nolan family,Freeman and the Batgang really came out of their way to support her on her post wedding bash so here's hoping she loves to do this project.

Well, Nolan has admitted to a certain degree that Rachel is in the sequel. I have a feeling he wouldn't write the character into the script if she said she wasn't coming back. Didn't Charles Roven also say she's coming back last year (that is, she's under contract for another one)? Can't remember...

She also did a photo shoot for Harper Magazine and Victoria Beckham

was her stylist but the magazine is stalling the release date.

She may be bad to you but she's got her own following that thinks she's pretty good. Hell lot better than Alba,Dunst,Bosworth.
Some like Connelly but many critics and fans also wonder why she's always crying in her projects and we have seen Oscar caliber actresses turn crappy once they do Superhero films. To each his own.

Im not arguing how good an actress Katie is because Ive seen her in other projects and this girl has a bright future. If the media says she's getting more opportunities because of Batman Begins then it means many were impressed by her performance too.

I will be so heartbroken if Rachel is gone. For the first time this female character gels and her relationship with Bruce emotionally connects and intrigrues me.
