What you think of Nick Cage...i know he has done alot of ****** movies recently (some were good...kick ass and bad bad lieutenant) ...but he is a great actor and i think he can play a really good Lex.

He has a range to play play Business Lex to Mad Lex. I always pictured him when watching Batman/Superman public enemy.

He doesn't have the pretty boy look like the new superman..and i think that will play a nice contrast.

He has the look at least (which I realize is not nearly enough by itself), and the green shirt makes me think of on-the-run Lex from Justice League.

Lol .....I think he would accept it....he really wanted to play green goblin and was semi cast as well(I remember the news when it came out) .....he had schedule conflict (i forgot what movie he couldnt get out of at the time)

cranston is too old imo actually he is more too old looking

lex imo should be intimidating and powerful looking

like Jason Isaacs

Only 7 years difference. So the "too old" argument doesn't carry too much weight, IMO. Although, I would not be opposed to Isaacs either. Both are great in their own right.

Oh you are right. My bad, I misread what you wrote. In that sense then yes, I agree. Based on his acting alone, he would make a badass Lex. Does Cranston smoke? It sure looks like he does. If so, it's amazing how much smoking can age a person.

Bryan Cranston would be great. Just depends what age they're making Lex.

Here's another couple of names I thought of recently. They don't all have the right age or look, but I consider each of them capable of being quite menacing and dangerous, which I think is an important quality for Lex.

Michael Keaton (that would be one for the books!)
