I suppose they will go the ASM way...Oscorp is there, but the main man is not shown. Of course, it doesn't seem like LexCorp would have a role as big in MOS as Oscorp does in ASM.

I'm hoping Dr Hamilton works for LexLabs :)

Doesn't sound like it.

They released a set poster about 'Rebuilding Metropolis' showing a bunch of corperations responsible for fixing the city.

Lexcorp isn't listed.

It either doesn't exist yet, or they aren't going the route of corperate Lex.

True, but maybe Lexcorp doesn't stand behind rebuilding Metropolis after Superman is a factor in it's destruction (assuming that is how the movie plays out). Maybe he feels Superman shouldn't be bailed out and should instead be held accountable.

Of course, that is a maaaaaajor speculation on my part.

Or they just aren't big on a having a hint of him in the first film, especially on a poster that may only be a set piece.

The perfect Luthor cocktail would be 1 part Howard Hughes, 1 part Antonio Salieri with a splash of Telsa and a twist of Gordon Gekko.

Damn sir, that is a perfect combination. Exactly how Luthor should be.

Too old?

Ofcourse he's too old, he's extinct, I don't want a dead man playing lex!!......hehe....na but interesting suggestion, never thought he could play a bad ass lex though, I would give him a try....:)

Never thought of Moyer before, but I could see it, yeah.

I'd like to see Lex be about ten years older than Clark/Superman.

Now we're at it...

Handsome, charming, shrewd, certifiable, psychotic, murderer...

I'd be down with that too. Andrew Lincoln is awesome.

Really, when it gets down to it, there are a LOT of actors who could make a good Lex.

And none of them are named Billy Zane. :D

If there gonna go with an English actor, it's gotta be Oscar nominated Clive Owen :)

I just love that charming but evil expression on his face... like the majority of the time :funny:

Channing Tatum for Lex?

jk, please don't ban me. I've been reading too much stuff on Magic Mike lately. :p

I'd still like to see Rufus Sewell, personally. I could easily see him as suave/charming and evil at the same time. Or Michael Fassbender, because the Fass is awesome in everything I've seen him in.

He's been suggested before, but here's another +1 for Luke Goss - just spotted him on a program here in the UK and thought to myself, he could actually make a good modern version of Lex. Most of you probably remember him from Blade II, but he's been in plenty of other films too.

Goss is a better actor than most give him credit for. Unfortunately over here, he still gets a lot of ridicule because of his Bros days, in a Wahlberg/Marky Mark way. You say his name and people just recoil with this look of repugnance on their face - ''you mean the guy from Bros?........''

Haha, yeah. I hope that we eventually do get to see Luthor in the kryptonite battlesuit. That thing is so epic. And I still think Damon would be an inspired choice for Luthor. He's one of the best actors out there, and he can play a ruthless SOB (his characters in The Departed and School Ties are very Luthor-esque).

I think Lex should be really handsome and younger than he is normally depicted, more like Smallville.

Just putting it out there. I think Zane at least looks like the kind of look Lex should have. I know nothing of his acting though other than Titanic...

I think it would be cool if Lex rose to power by discovering Kryptonite from Asteroid Mining, since Lexcorp in the comics has a Science and Space research division.

My #1 pick for lex would be jason isaacs, always has been, followed by daniel day-lewis, and viggo mortensen.

I can accept Brolin as Lex. And I have faith that Goyer and Nolan would make sure the essence of Lex Luthor will finally be translated to the Silver Screen. And it will certainly be a treat if he actually becomes a welcome surprise for everybody!

Yeah i'd be majorly happy with Isaacs, he's got a great look and he's such a fantastic actor :)

Jason Issacs would be an awesome Lex.

(Off topic) How Andrew Lincoln looked as a gangester in Gangster Number One hilarious.
