Philip Seymour Hoffman reminds me a bit of this Lex:

When I'm more inclined to see this Lex:

PSH could lose some weight if they required it for the role though, he's a pretty serious actor . . . that being said we're looking for Lex Luthor, not Sexy Luthor lol

In all reality, I doubt Snyder would even cast him, and moreover PSH is a bit bougouis and I could see him turning his nose up to the likes of Snyder as director

I remember someone asked him about getting involved in Nolan's Batfilms and if the rumors of him being in the running for The Penguin were true. He said that he's a comic fan, and that he's enjoyed both Nolan's Batman movies and what Marvel have been doing lately, but that he thinks he enjoys watching them more than he would doing them.

I just want to know if Lex Luthor will eat cake in this version. Perhaps as many as four tens?

looks like Professor X to me . . .

yup . . . white and bald, and skinnyish . . . *racialist*

I want a young, suave Lex this time around. Not an old and / or corpulent one. And I ESPECIALLY don't want him to be a goofball like Hackman and Spacey portrayed him.

I'm still sticking with Hardy.

I swear, if they gave a brief allusion the meme, I would jump for joy in a crowed theater. :awesome:

They totally should! It would be easy too. Lex Luthor walks past his secretary's desk, and she has some cakes sitting there. He grabs one, takes a bite.

LUTHOR: Mmmm, I could eat forty of these.

SECRETARY: That's terrible.

Matt Damon, Decaprio, Pitt, or maybe even Law, and if you really wanted the sleaze factor, then Colin Farrell.
Soo many differnt possibilities. I personally would prefer a Lex thats mid 30's to mid 40's.

Leonardo DiCpario is actually a possibility that really intrigues me. It's been a while since Leo's played a bad guy, so this would be a chance for him to really play against type. The only problem is that Nolan apparently had to really work hard to convince him to do Inception, as he worried THAT was too mainstream and blockbustery. Getting him to play Lex Luthor would be an even harder sell.

Question- Does Lex Luthor have to be bald?

Lex Luthor must be bald. No more "wigs" that let the actor keep his hair.

L&K's Lex (at first) wasn't bald and that worked... Lex Luthor II had long flowing red hair (at first) and that worked...

I'm not so sure...
Then again when you start messing around with widely regarded visuals you start opening yourself up to further questions..

Does Lex have to be bald?
Does Superman need a cape?

For the record without a cape it's just not Superman.

Supposedly, Leo is a comic geek. A couple of years ago he was wanting to produce an Aquaman film, so who knows.
EDIT: To be (bald) or not to be (bald). As long as there are no wigs around, i'm good...

As an actor DiCaprio would make a great Lex.. Just can't seem to visualise him bald...

No thanx to DiCaprio for Lex. He's just not cut out for a role like this imo. Besides, Hardy's already snagged the part and it's about time he gets some more screentime.
:cwink:
