^And I disagree with you yet again. At this point I'm waiting to agree with something you say.
LOL, if you guys have never see The Nostalgia Critic's review of The Phantom, I highly recommend it. That movie is even worse that I remember (and when I saw it, way back when, I thought it was a pile of crap, so there you go), especially the horrible acting by Zane, Treat Williams and Kristi Swanson.
I'm actually surprised that Zane got work AT ALL after that film.
yeah someone manip this picture

I want a younger Lex.Zane couldn't handle it. And casting a young Lex ala Smallville would be a DISASTER...you hear me?!
When I said Jon Hamm for Lex, I was just thinking along the lines of someone hardly suggested while still being "consistently awesome". Now, I know I'm reading far too much into this, but in an interview a few days before Cavill was announced as Superman, Hamm was asked again about the movie, and suddenly got tightlipped when asked if he'd ever play Superman. "I don't think that's going to happen." He wasn't asked if he'd never be in the movie itself. Hamm only had a few scenes in Sucker Punch, and who knows, maybe the two of them want to work together again? Hamm's name would definitely attract attention as a villain, everyone likes him from Mad Men... I think it would work out.
Although now that he's suggested, it won't happen.![]()
He looks far more like Lex Luthor; He looks more like Kalibak or Darkseid

If you are not impressed by a 3 time Oscar nominee who embodies all of Lois Lane's characteristics and an actor who looks exactly like superman and has the acting chops to back it up then i dont think any lex actor will impress you.

What a revelation, you're right! Novel suggestion considering the universal (and quite lazy) suggestions of Dennis Haysbert and Michael Clarke Duncan.
I want a younger Lex.
Spidey just doesn't want to see a gap like we had with Spacey and Routh if I'm not mistaken.Lex is the same age as Superman in the comic, and has been ever since the Silver Age.
