I still want my spacehamster...

also i played the trilogy on X360... ill hae ME:A on PS4

So, I'm replaying the trilogy on PS3 and just purchased the N7 arsenal bundle. When I played the ME trilogy on X360, I redeemed the Dr Pepper promotional gear.

I'd be very happy if they'd have the Sentry Interface visor. I really loved how that piece of gear looked on both male and female Shepard.

Man, people are waaaaaaay to ****ing sensitive. Just the overreaction to what he said is dumbfounding. Even out of context, which is how I had read his comment, it sounded like a reaction to people freaking out over the ESRB news that there was going to be full frontal nudity.

The most amazing part of it to me is, everyone knows that Bioware fans care way too much about who we get to **** (in game). Bethesda fans obsess over how large the map will be, and Bioware fans obsess over who will romance, therefore, ****.

I'm barely over 30, and I feel like an ancient old man so out of touch with this overreaction climate over every single thing. Other every end of the spectrum. Like people freaking out over looks based on a handful of characters we've seen in the trailer for this game (apparently, nobody is hot enough...??).

Hahaha, it's funny cause it's true and I'm not thirty yet. Especially the part about Beth fans and the map-size. If BioWare really wanted to stir the pot they should have hired Sasha Grey to voice a character like Volition did.

lol, I saw that and I was like whatever about it. It's nothing ME hasn't done before.

I do agree it's an overreaction, kind of, but man, it was weird to describe your game as softcore porn in, what seemed to me, a non-joking way.

which is why I said he should have been more careful (or you have be creful with what you say)with his words other people take the wrong way and I expected that to happen . as I said

but certain people in the industry of entertainment on most sides in interviews still have this mentality from the 80's of "there's no such thing as bad publicity" still and the 80's are dead for a reason. stop trying to bring it back and it's s stupid motto of things. there is bad publicity and it'll bite ya.

it will always bite you when say/ do something stupid.

Anyway he wanted the attention and he got in ways he didn't want it to happen and he had to clarify what he meant.

but should have known or realized that would cause him trouble in some way when it didn't come off as joke the way he said it . Even if it was joke alot people don't care for it....

But get got the attention he wanted. There things your better of not saying. save your self andothers near ya the trouble . Don't let your mouth flap.

oh befor I forget

this got wallowed up.
Nice lengthy gameplay video.

Brolly still put it up first. it's just for those that missed it some how.

The lesson to always be learned from overreaction is to just stay off social media. The through line always seems to be posting something on social media. Because almost everything someone can say can be stupid.

It seems like way more risk than reward. Even on simple things, like trying to tell people when the patch will be ready, but then people seemingly thinking it's etched in stone, and then (like with MEA) telling people it's not but that they'll try, but nobody really knows if it'll be ready for the EA Access thing or the game launch.

And that's just dealing with simple messaging, not even getting into people who'll yell at you for being a SJW or a a racist, or sexist, because of some perceived slight. From the outside looking in, it seems like trying to actively push your game on social media is probably more of a headache than it's worth.

Game looks stunning. Gameplay seems a lot more versatile. Can't wait!

Yeah, adding a jetpack seems like it could drastically change the versatility of combat, just by moving things up and down as well keeping things left and right.

I know some people were feeling bummed about how they're doing away (more or less) with classes, but honestly that seems like a smart decision. I remember seeing the percentage numbers from Bioware only how most people chose to play as a Solider. Opening that up, and giving people access to the other powers seems like it could be a good thing.

I hope the classless system works and sets a new precedent for future Bioware games, like the next Dragon Age game.

remember it's only class if you want to have multi pil powers as the path finder have bars for each to .

they showed if you to specialize like in adept you go the full route and get sentinel and more from adept part. it's possible to do the same with others like too may be and play the way you did as soldier or as an interceptor/sniper and I think engineer .

ok here's the latest

BioWare's upcoming highly anticipated Space Opera, Mass Effect: Andromeda has stirred equal parts hype and skepticism leading up to its release, and now the developers will be giving fans an opportunity to test drive the game's multiplayer mode this month at PAX East. BioWare posted the exact details of the showcase on their blog with the Hands-on event running each day from 10AM-10PM. For those of you who don't know, PAX East will be taking place in Boston from March 10th through the 12th.

As you can see, there will be two ways to try out the multiplayer mode. You can either head over to the "BioWare Base" (room 2AB) to try the game on one of twelve NVidia PCs. If you're looking for a more console-oriented experience, Microsoft will also have the game running on Xbox One at their booth (booth #13019).

I'm pretty sure brolly's video showcased that and it was in the weapon video I put up prior with the freezing and flame thrower part next to the omni blade . it'll be there regardless I'm sure in some form.

I think it could be really interesting if it works out. When you consider how long most Bioware games can be, it's less and less unlikely for people to replay the game twice, much less more than that, to experience the more unique aspects of each class.

If you get people to even just feel it out a little, and see some benefits of other classes without getting out of their comfort zone...that could be a huge benefit. You could even manage to inspire more people to try another playthrough and go full 'adept' or, if it winds up in a later Dragon Age game, going full 'mage'.

We know with the numbers that Bioware has put out that oftentimes the more popular classes are the solider classes. At the very least, getting more people to see the work they put into the other stuff seems like a good idea to me.

One thing that could make replayability higher with MEA is that the Ryders are supposed to each have their own personality since they are two different people, with the previous ME games male and female were much the same as they were both the same character.

Yes should make the 2nd playthrough that much better.

^ I hope the personalities of the Ryder twins aren't too set in stone, as I'd like to have some say in it.

yep, good point.

In my case, my created characters tend to be similar in personality, alignment, and looks. So, if I were to do multiple playthroughs with different classes, it would probably be largely the same role playing experience for me since I tend to play the same character.

Sure, there might be a few different choices I might make based on my class ( siding with Mages or Templars, for example ), but they aren't going to be drastically different.

So, I often say to myself that I'll make different playthroughs for different classes but I never do so cuz I just focus on my one main character.

Yeah, that happens to me too. I've replayed the ME trilogy a few times, and I've rarely ever gone full renegade. I'm replaying it on PS3 right now, as FemShep, and only now am I actually going full renegade.

I think most people tend to roleplay the character and go with their instincts. I know I tell myself I'll replay the game as a different character at a later point, but rarely do it because of the time commitment. I still haven't gone back and replayed Dragon Age Origins as a mage because of the hundreds and hundreds of hours I know I'd have to commit, ontop of the hundreds of hours I've already poured into my first playthrough.

The only reason I've probably replayed the ME trilogy as much as I have is because it's nowhere near as many hours as DAO or DAI. The trilogy, all three games (DLC included) will probably take you less time than the GOTY Editions of DAO or DAI.

So you're definitely not alone. I'd be shocked if the number of people who pull off multiple playthroughs of most Bioware games breaks double digits.

The litmus for a good BioWare game is whether or not you want play it again immediately after beating it. And that feeling's been in decline for sometime now.

Anyway since y'all are talking classes. I went ruthless with my Vanguard. Didn't waste time, skipped all the side ****. It was all A to B.

With my Sentinel I was still a methodical dick, but I helped everyone I could along the way.

Paragon was not for me. More often then not I felt like punching pure Paragon in the face with an interrupt.

You have a point. I wanted to replay DAO, but didn't. Can't say I felt that way about DA2. I was kinda dying to get it over with, actually.

Going full Renegade with my Sentinel FemShep right now, sometimes it just feels like she's being a ***** just to be one. Atleast in ME1, I thought so. Sometimes, it felt like I was being a badass, but other times it just seemed like being needlessly rude, racist, or just grumpy.

So far, in ME2, it's felt a little differently. Way more badass, and more "I got **** to do" than just being mean for no reason.

I'm really interested in seeing how the dialogue is different in Andromeda. It sounds like it might be different from even Dragon Age, who does have the aggressive, funny, or emotional choices symbolized. I wonder if it'll lead to mistakes being made, because gamers might be too conditioned into simple binary dialogue choices.

For me, what makes playing a renegade interesting is when they show compassion or do nice things, or has some kind of moral code. Because that is what gives a renegade depth. Otherwise they are one dimensional characters.

Likewise for playing as a paragon, in that they are more interesting then they are pushed into doing not very nice things occasionally, or their moral code is tested.

Oh man, the latest "exploration gameplay" video sold me more on this game than all the other videos combined. How cool is it that you can look out the windows of the Tempest and the view changes depending on your location? :hmr:
God I wish this had been released like a month ago or something.

I hope they confirm all of the available romance options soon.
