Extremis came before Civil War, if you read Ellis's run on Thunderbolts post Civil War is amazing. Don't think I read anything else done by him
And I like Extremis

One of Norman's most memorable lines, or so it seems

I hope Mr.Knight is just one of his personalities, the detective one, and that there will be his Moon Knight personality when he's in his cowl.

Anyone pick this up today?
Turns out it is pretty awesome, glad I took a chance.

Picked it up due to Ellis who usually writes stuff I like. He doesn't stick around long, though...

Really liked the art, too.

Read it, found it pretty interesting. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

It was pretty good, did not really understand the ending though.

I really enjoyed the first issue. At least Ellis didn't forget about what happened in the Bendis series and it'll be very interesting to see where he takes this. Also, Declan Shalvey is killing it on the artwork and will have a bright future.

MOON KNIGHT #4
WARREN ELLIS (W)
DECLAN SHALVEY (A/C)
• Moon Knight goes somewhere even more messed up than his own mind.
• Something is happening to the subjects of a sleep experiment that’s driving them all insane.
• Go with Moon Knight to the Mushroom graveyard planet for the most troubling and disturbing issue yet!
32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99

He doesn't forget it but seems to be distancing himself from it, which in my opinion is good.
His multiple personas now seem to be different aspects of Moon Knight instead of embodiments of other heroes.

MOON KNIGHT #6
Warren Ellis (W)
Declan Shalvey & JORDIE BELLAIRE (A/C)
• A threat from the first issue is back to cause problems for Moon Knight!
• This mysterious person is the new BLACK SPECTRE and it doesn't mean anything good for the protector of night travelers.
• Don't miss the conclusion of Warren Ellis, Declan Shalvey and Jordie Bellaire.
32 PGS./Rated T+ ...$3.99

So is Ellis and co. leaving the book after the first arc, or are they already cancelling this?

That didn't make much sense to me either, until Warren Ellis reminded me that Marc Spector's f***ing crazy. I'd be pretty damn scared of a guy who dresses in solid white, gets shot at all the time, and still manages to f*** criminals up.

I never understood how Frenchie didn't just knock him the **** out after so long of being called that.

I haven't read much of Moon knight since the 90's.
