Hilarious post. You should look closely at Cavill's nose btw. I don't see you complaining that his has been broken too...

I'd be excited to see how Benjamin Walker would do. FilmNerdJamie even said he was the kind of type that had a shot.. I like his look physically, big frame, dark thick hair, and he has serious chops as an actor which would come in handy differentiating all the various personality quirks inherent to portraying Kent/Kal-el/Superman. In those two pics of him in the white shirt, and hearing him speak in interviews, it aint all that hard for me to imagine him as superman..

That's Luke Banham's demo reel...he's ripped in the shot where he's swinging the bat!

How can you have watched that reel, and still be suggesting him? I have literally NEVER seen anything so awful, let alone such an awful Superman casting suggestion. The man can clearly not act at all, and uses a video of himself running through a field, naked apart from a cape and blonde wig, waving a baseball bat, to sell himself.

It was hard enough to sit through that, but to have to sit through a whole movie of him playing Superman...

Sorry if it seems like i'm over reacting... this has never happened before... but... well... just watch it! Seriously!

Just saw this really great little movie called City Island the other day. Made me think that Steven Strait might make a decent Superman. I know he's been in some crappy blockbuster attempts like 10,000 B.C., but he really turned in a great performance in this film. He kind of has the look, and is a decent age. Not sure of his height, though.

He's gorgeous, but he doesn't look like Superman to me... too much of a pretty boy IMO

I wouldnt say that..it's a mighty big thread and I bet ya out of all the actors that have mentioned here, the guy who finally gets it will have been mentioned here at some point as well.

Of course, snyder could pull a burton and shock us all with a nic cage type of casting..if so, you will be right.

I mean the regulars... you know... the Hammer, Joe M, Cavill, Welling, Routh, blah, blah... of that bunch the only one that has a realistic chance at this is Hammer. The rest of the candidates are going to be more in Porter/Padalecki style... of course they have been mentioned... once every 56 pages or so... you get what I mean...

i don't want hammer at all. i was all for hamm but i guess he is too old for what they want.

i think were gonna get a BIG surprise with the casting sooner or later. maybe even someone that we all counted out long ago. at this point it's anybodies guess?

i just wish they would throw us a bone.

i have a few theories but i do not want to get banned for saying them on here. i will say i do have a feeling we won't hear casting news until a certain series on the CW ends. even if it's not related.
