Unless of course they show a picture of him decked out as Superman and he actually looks awesome, which is not beyond the realms of possibility.

If he's chosen and there's footage/pic of him where he looks and just screams Superman, I'll give him his due. But as of now, there's nothing Superman about him at all, IMO. There's nothing special about his acting or his look. He doesn't exude charm or charisma. The best thing he has going about him is his build, that's it.

There are a lot better choices out there than Joe M.

Wow, this Joe guy is a really bad choice, imo. He looks nothing like Clark Kent to me.

I compare Brandon as Supes to him and no, he doesn't cut it, he's just not likeable enough either. He totally has the wrong presence, imo. Joe's nose is very distracting, ugh.

I'm sure Nolan and Snyder has been looking their ass's off for the next Supes and they know the significance of this movie for the comic/cinema franchise.

I won't pass judgment on anyone because ALL of these pictures that we are seeing isn't the actors in Superman-mode. None of it. If WB see's something in Joe M, then I trust their judgment because he HAD to of wow'd them if he is indeed the front-runner to land the gig. The guy is scruffy right now and most pics out there he doesn't pose in any Super like stance.

I'm sure if Joe M gets it, he'll magically transform into Clark Kent, as would anyone else. It's the matter of what Snyder is looking for at this point.

I never said Brandon's nose was tiny. It isn't, but it looks perfect on his face and for Superman. Unlike Joe.

Well Nolan has a pretty good track record, so whomever gets picked will likely be very good.

To me, Joe has always looked like a *****bag/meathead type, though I wouldn't complain too much about that aspect.

I'm more concerned with the fact that he seems to have a niche for playing those types of 'dumb jock' characters (or sex object characters), I can't picture him as the wholesome blue boyscout, even when he smiles.

He comes off more like a thug, or hired muscle. I'd prefer him as a side villain if anything.

I think if the new poll is any indication, only a small percentage of people see Superman in Joe M. Also both Joe and Hammer have vastly different looks. I guess it would depend on what Snyder wants for his film. Cavill has them both beat looks wise though.

I think with the proper haircut Joe's nose problem would go away, or maybe just be less noticeable. He's not my pick for Superman but i definitely think he should be looked at atleast.

Unlike some of the other actors like Hammer, Hamm, and Cavill, I actually have to try to look hard to see Joe M. as Superman. Not saying he can't do it, but he probably looks the least. Perhaps he looks the best out of everyone when in the suit but I'm just basing it on his face.
