So despite your dislike of the film, yet knowing the best picture category has been expanded and it is a well received film, you still can't see it being nominated? I mean, I'm not exactly sure if it will or not, but it wouldn't surprise me based on how the best picture category has been expanded.

I'm sure Lincoln won't deserve half of their nominations but it's going to happen anyway because of politics. So why not throw TDKR on that list? I think it deserves quite a few nominations.

Have you seen the film? Lincoln is solid. It could have been so schmaltzy and DDL could have gone so over the top but both he and Spielberg approached it with a lighter touch. That film will have earned anything it gets.

I have seen Lincoln. Tommy Lee Jones deserves a non and it deserves a Best Director. Lewis does deserve one and so does Fields. But I don't think it's a Best Picture Nom.

The category has been expanded to 10 nominations. One of the big reasons is the backlash of the Dark Knight not getting nominated. They will nominate the Dark Knight Rises to make up for that mistake.

Having a harder time with Penguin.. because my ideas keep going back to Arkham City Oswald (where I feel he was brilliantly executed) -- so having a harder time.

You could just have him be one of the rich people that is still suffering the repercussions of being sacked during Bane's takeover of Gotham. He would still have the whole "lost fortune" back story but reinterpreted it for the Nolanverse.

Thanks. I used Inception, Dardevil, Batman Begins, and the Dark Knight Rises for Nightwing and then I used Underworld and the Amazing Spider Man for Killer Croc.

Dude get outta my head!!! Haha although to be fair I think a lot of ppl on boards and comments sections are throwing around the idea of recruits from the orphanage. I was thinking Jason wasn't mecessarily there - Robin Blake maybe knew him as one of the age-outs and the two of them are the "recruiters" (ala Magento and Prof X) with Tim being the star student. Damian is a forced recruit. And the orphanage goes co-Ed and Steph is there too eventually
