thats right, not long Vartha :D and its not cheesy or corny or anything, they did a really good job with the hammer spin without it being overwhelming. Its Bad..A$$ I promise :)

you know, I can't for the life of me find that danged Hammer Spin thread we had in our forums. Corpy didn't know where it went either.
We had some pretty good discussion in it.

if there is a vote of whether looks better with or without his helmet I have to fall on the side of the people who thinks he looks better with the helmet. it's a major bummer you only see thor in his helmet for one scene, he looks so freaking cool.
Im suspect its the comic-book fan in you thats saying that. The Casual movie goer in me disagrees. To each his own.
I think this proves to fans that you dont have to be 100% faithful to the comics to be a good movie. If Thor can do without his helmet,Superman can do without his undies.

To be honest I like the Lord Thor Helmet over the Classic
Really?I havent seen that one.

The Hammer spins are the best Thor power ever!

A few more fresh reviews up on RT, including a fifth "top critic." Should be certified fresh anytime now, from what I understand :cwink:

Correct. It's officially met all the requirements. And the top critics now have a percentage up. 100% and 8.2/10

The Lord Thor helmet was the arc right after Odin Died and Thor became Lord of Asgard

The movie helmet looks good. They should have more confidence in it. Hopefully Whedon will in the Avengers. It looks every bit as good as any of the batman cowls I've seen.

I agree kedrell. I wish they had more confidence in it. I loved the look and feel of the helmet I feel when they went to battle the frost giants Thor should of had his helmet on honestly. Odin seemed to wear his in battle! Why not Thor?

Edit: Vartha I do remember the Hammer Spin thread but I cant seem to find it either (im also at work haha). I think it was split down the middle with how people felt the hammer spin would look on the big screen. I have to say they did it very well, like said before it wasnt too overpowering and cheesy looking but when you caught view of the spin you said to yourself "YES! THERE IT IS!"

Oh and below made me grin ear to ear!

Loki had the gangster lean/slouch on the Throne. I COULDNT BE MORE HAPPY ABOUT THAT! :D

Heh I work evenings and overnights Nick lol tonight and tomorrow night from 7pm-7am Yeah I have the collector card of that Loki Scene. :D

Thor was great movie. Very entertaining. Only some months and we see Captain America!

I actually think Cap's an easier slam dunk than Thor was gonna be. On the Marvel side of things, Thor was the bigger question this year. Cap's fairly rooted and X-Men are already established. Only GL on the DC side seemed an even bigger question. Well now that Thor is taken care of, I'm feeling much more at ease with how this summer is gonna turn out.

"Sit thine five dollar ass down before I maketh change!" should be on a T-shirt.

lol INDEED! or should I say VERILY!!

Oh, and the average score overall is now at 7/10 on RT.

The problem for Cap and GL is that they don't have much breathing room to gain an audience. I'd give Cap the edge because there aren't to many superhero WWII set films. Rocketeer, is about the only one to my knowledge. GL might seem a little to similar to Thor, i.e. extra terrestrial world, a magic object that gives them power, etc., on the other hand GL probably has one of the largest cult followings of any DC character which could easily fuel it. I don't get a real read on how it's going to do.

I´ve seen it!.Twice already.

The movie is awesome.Im not a Thor fan.Never read the comics, but i loved it!!!.Best Marvel production to date!!.Epic, great action scenes, great acting.
9/10.:awesome:
