The Official TIH Crowd Report Thread

we went to a 12:25pm screening, there was only about 20 people there including me, my wife and my daughter. got great responses from the crowd at certain parts. i loved it and i await the sequel. i was a little disappointed about the low crowd turn out but it was early in the day yet.

hopfully im going today if i can find anyone to go with

lol. Yeah, you won't get anyone for a 12:25pm show..

Well, I think the day X3 came out, people were coming out of the woodwork on that morning. It was weird...It's like they just took the whole day off.

There was only one midnight showing at the theater I went to, but it was mostly full. The crowd seemed to enjoy it for the most part.

...over half of the audience stayed to watch the credits, but of course, they were disappointed.

That happened in my theater too.

I went to a matinee showing and the crowd was decent. Everyone pretty much enjoyed it with quite a few clapping at the Stark cameo in the end.

packed midnight show....and a rowdy one too! It started off so-so but once people got into it...it got even better.

*SPOILERS* *SPOILERS* *SPOILERS* *SPOILERS* *SPOILERS* *SPOILERS* *SPOILERS*

First big laugh "Your making me hungry. You won't like me when I'm hungry"..."wait that can't be right."

First big cheer: Stan The Man Lee's cameo!

Second big cheer: Lou Ferrigno's cameo!

Pretty good "Ohhhh" reaction when the dude who missed the jump from building to building as they chased banner...he fell pretty hard.

Big laugh: Banner asks "Where am I"...Driver:"Gautemala"

Another big "Ohhhh" and clapping moment...after Hulk kicks Blonsky...brutal.

man...there were so many more...oh yeah a couple of nice Betty moments:
After they couldn't get it on...Banner has to stop...kind of embarassed and puts his head down....Liv's delivery was great when she said "Its ok"....it got a huge laugh :)
so did this one...
After Betty screams at the cabdriver, Banner:"I know a few techniques that could help you control that anger"

Great laugh and clapping when Banner takes his free fall out of the helicopter "Oh shhhiii"

Of course...the biggest cheer and applause was for "HULK...SMASH!"
But that was eclipsed of course...by Mr. Tony Stark's cameo! The crowd cheered so much they cut into some of what he was saying...and then...after what he does say...lots and lots of cheering and applause.

I assure you there was a lot of fun stuff...even though overall it was a darker movie with a serious tone...but the crowd helped loosen it up a bit. Go see it with a packed crowd this weekend!

Same. Sure we weren't in the same theater.:oldrazz:

I was a tad suprised that nobody clapped during the Bixby cameo, but there were alot of young ppl there and probably didn't know who he was.

The midnight screening was jam-packed. As far as the crowd reaction, it was positive for the most part. There were a few laughs at the awkward Betty/Bruce moments, but everything else was well-received. Everyone laughed at the Stan cameo, the "hungry" lines and Blonsky tranquing the dog got some laughs early on. Later, alot of people laughed at Blonsky's pwnage and Bruce's "bed difficulties." Sterns got alot of laughs for performance alone. People were really digging all of the fan references, like with the "abomination" nod and Ferrigno/Bixby's appearances.

People clapped at the beginning, and they clapped at the end. I didn't hear any negativity walking out. Pretty good screening, all things considered.

I went with a friend to the noon showing today. There were only about 15 or so people total, but they seemed to like it. Claps and cheers at the appropriate spots.

I went to the midnight showing at the Carmike Thoroughbred in Franklin, TN and the theater was completely full of the BEST movie fans I have ever seen! They clapped, applauded, hooted and yelled at all the right times. And it just added to make a very positive movie experience.

The biggest moment is when Tony Stark enetered and mentioned the Avengers. The place went crazy!

Midnight showing was almost completely full. Ferrigno definitely got the biggest response, even moreso than the cameo, but I suspect most were hardcore fans who probably already watched that clip numerous times

I'm heading to the Hollywood 27 off of Thompson Lane (also Nashville) this evening with my lady and a couple of friends. I've been ready all day to cut loose:wow:

My wife and I went to the 1PM showing today. I wasn't expecting any long lines....boy was I wrong! The lines were so long, they extended into the middle of the parking lot, and by the time we made it to the window, we were hearing that the 1PM showing was sold out! It's a good thing I bought our tickets in advance on Fandango! :bh:

My theater was 85% full and they loved it, everyone was buzzng when coming up, all smiling excitedly and talking about it, it was really cool to see the reaction.

I'm going RIGHT NOW!
Finally! I waited over a year for this!

My theater was completely full, and there was abig applause afterwards.

Isnt he dead?

I went 10am and I was very surprise by the amount of people there that early.
My audience were very boring and quiet but I believe they all enjoyed it.
Alot of people stayed after the credits thinking that there may be a surprise, sadly we wasted our time.

Oh yeah! some folks laughed at the Lou Ferrigno, Bill Bixby and Stan Lee cameos, also at Stanley's Pizzeria.

Is it really him? I could have sworn I saw that he died a few years back.

Yeah, it's one of his old movies/tv shows (don't remember what it was) that Bruce was watching on the TV. Bixby's been dead for a while now.

Bruce was watching an old episode of Seasme Street dubbed in Portugese that featured a guest appearance by Bill Bixby. No doubt from the time when the Hulk TV series was popular.

It was really neat seeing him and Lou in the movie. It was a surprise seeing Bill on the TV. Kinda warmed my heart a little to see that Bill was worked into the movie after dying in 1993.

:applaud me too.

Went to a 4:45 show (yes, I ditched work early) It was about 3/4 full. It's stadium seating so the bottom rows were all empty but the tops were pretty much occupato.
