The Official TIH Crowd Report Thread

My theater had every seat filled. the ushers were moving people to get more in.

I went to the midnight show so just about all of us were real fans. Even the teens we were worried were going to start crap shut up the minute the trailers started. Everyone clapped at the 'Ton' scene and at the end there was thunderous applause.

Great crowd great movie.:bh:

I went to an afternoon matinee in the large theater (screen) and it was about 90% full. The audience seemed to enjoy the movie very much... oooo'ing and ahhh'ing in all the right places... and laughing at the funny parts.

A bunch of giggly teenage girls came into the showing I was at. Usually when a bunch of girls come to a flick like this, it's usually a reason to talk amongst themselves or attempt to flirt with random teen boys they know flock to these things. The Hulk scene at the university when you see him in broad daylight walking around and what not, one of them says, "oooh, the Hulk is HOT!" :o

I have a feeling that Iron Man's triumphant success helped ease people into the idea that this Hulk would not be a repeat of the 2003 failure.

Now I'm not trying to start an argument, Ang Lee fans. It's fine if you liked the 2003 Hulk, but just realize that many people did not. I think having Ed Norton and better CGI was a big draw, but Iron Man's success definitely helped Hulk out.

Just got back from my third screening in 3 days, and at the end there was enourmous applause:up:

just got back from a 4 pm showing

i was the first one there so I counted the number of people coming in,I tallied around 100-103 heads

Not to try and put a downer on this thread, but why would it matter how many people were in a cinema?

To get a BO feel. Now just drop this subject cuase I'm not even a fanboy like that and I'm doing all I can not to hulk out and show my wrath.

House was packed..and there was applause at the end.

My theater cheered and clapped at the end.

I just got back from the 8p.m. showing in the largest theater at the cinema. It was pretty full, although not completely. There was a decent size crowd that left from the previous viewing.

Everyone in the theater was really into the film. It was really cool to hear all the reactions. Even at the end, nearly everyone applauded. I think the crowd was quite pleased.

My theater was annoying at times - laughing at the wrong parts and stuff, but it was a good crowd. The applause was a tribute to the movie, and there was a healthy turnout for the after-credits scene that didn't exist.

Any crowd reactions from the "lonley man theme"? That got ppl pretty geeked out in my cinema.

My theatre was packed and responded to everything, they cheered the Hulk on, winced at the hits. They were very into it.

I saw a 7:55 showing in Beaumont, TX. Crowd was pretty full. A few annoying babies in the audience. The movie was ridiculously loud. I enjoyed it. The crowd liked all the jokes, cameos, and easter eggs. They especially freaked out after the whole Tony Stark thing.

It's a veiny dude with huge muscles who's barely clothed. It's bound to make a few girls hot around the collar, however weird it is to think about something like that.

The crowd I went to see TIH with was very good. They laughed at some scenes (like Stan Lee), and ooh and aah at the right places, and we clapped at the end. I think it went over very well. Btw, it was the 7:45pm showing.

Both times I went (first time I see same movie in same day) people laughed at all the intended moments, cheered at the intended moments, and clapped at the end.

My theatre was packed and some of the earlier showings were sold out. I'm in Riverside, CA.

had a pretty good crowd. lots of great reactions. i LOVED the film, and intend to see it again.
Here's my reaction... to the crowd.

on the way out, saw this girl, she was way hot. but she was with two huge linebacker types.

oh well.
*calms down*

Bucharest
21:30 showing
20 people in the theater*.

And yet there was still some idiot that when Banner transforms back into his human form after being administered the cure, this guy yells out: "Hey man... you can have sex now!"

:)

* To be fair, it was a football night, Romania vs Italy in the Euro 2008. :) The match ended 1-1 which is pretty good as far as I'm concerned. I thought they'd slaughter us.
