you'd be a fool to think that situation was survivable. Man versus Army of Vampires is a no-win scenario. Although, I was kind of shocked when I watched Omega Man. Charlton Heston taken out by a spear???

I think they had the "real" ending and replaced it with an un-realistic although completely Will Smith/PG-13 appropriate ending.

Doesn't Will Smith get tired of fighting armies of hostile robots, vampires, aliens, etc. singlehandedly. I guess he's the best at everything...

I think the main character dies in the original story. This has been made into a film three times. Once with Vincent Price, then Charlton Heston (THE OMEGA MAN) and now with Will ****.

Nothing is scarrier than CGI vampires.

He kills himself because the new society is full of people who enjoy killing rather than just killing to survive. So he swallows pills and says "I am legend" and thus the name.

Looks to be no naked vampires, tempting him to come out of his house. And what the **** is with all the animals? It ruins the surprise of finding a dog.
