Either one I guess. Personally, I'd go for Jodi Applegate (from Good Day NY), Norah O'Donnell (from CNN), Pascale Hutton (played Raya in Smallville - Season 6) or Liz Hurley.

Maggie looks better in real time than pics to me. She has a great personality and it really brings her face to life when she's impassioned about something. Some people see "clayface"; I see rosy cheeks. Whatever though..

I don't think there's any question that Katie would win the beauty contest, but I had a hard time tolerating her in Begins. She wasn't utterly horrible, per se, but stacked up against better actors (like Freeman, Oldman, Neeson, Bale, Caine, even Rutger Hauer), you could see her inherent weaknesses (including inexperience.) Maggie is by far a better actress, and I'd rather have that than another pretty face to look at.

Yeah, but this isn't a fair comparison, is it? Basically, the creator of this picture has found one of the worst pictures of Maggie Gyllenhaal and basically contrasted it with one of the better pictures of Katie Holmes. You can pick a bad picture of Jessica Alba and compare it with a good picture of Maggie, and Maggie would look much more humpable.

Who would you rather do?

I'm not saying that I'd rather have sexual intercourse with Maggie Gyllenhaal, just pointing out that Crook's comparison is not a justifyable way to show that Katie Holmes is indeed hotter.

Man, poor Bruce, in the comics he's had silver St.Cloud and Catwoman, now he has this thing that's supposed to pass as a pretty woman. I don't think so!

What a horrible annoying character. Maybe the Joker will 'take care' of her.

Seriously though, as much as I hate the character of Rachel (or at least, I don't have any love for her) I am just going to wait and see how it plays out in the movie. I'm not basing my opinion from some viral video.

I wouldn't base it off a short viral video either. Gyllenhaal is an excellent actress. I have faith she will portray Rachel Dawes very well. Much better than Holmes anyways. I think there will be a great focus on the character development of her in TDK.

Yeah, but you can't say that Maggie doesn't look better in the picture I posted; especially when contrasted with the horrible picture of Katie Holmes.

I look bad in some pictures, while I sometimes look sexy in other pictures. Such is life. You can compare a bad picture of me with a good picture of one of my friends, and I would look ugly. In turn, you could compare a friggin' good picture of me with a bad picture of one of my friends, and I would look extremely hot.

That's the point I'm making. It's really quite simple -- there's no need to start checking URL's.

Have you not seen "real" photos of Maggie before? That's how she smiles. That's how she naturally looks. There's no magical angle that will give you a different view of her appearance. As I stated already, the point of the comparison is to show both actresses in relatively the same exact pose, angle, event...so there are no variables that may change one's view on the girl.

I don't like posting mag shots, because they are almost always digitally altered to make the best of the person being photographed. There's a reason why I chose a public event for both girls. To showcase how they'd "really" look.

If you're going to make a fair comparison, then you can at least find the hottest picture of Gyllenhaal and compare it with the hottest picture of Holmes...

You can go ahead and do so. More than likely, it'll end up with the same exact result that my comparison picture probably did.

Actually, I've just done a Google search on Katie Holmes and she does look pretty hot in about 70% of her photos. Maggie looks hot in about 30% of her photos.

But in all seriousness, Maggie looks hotter in this photo than in the photo you posted of her:

I wouldn't do time for it, but this goes to show that people just look prettier and uglier in different photos. There's no science behind it; that's just life.

I actually think Maggie looks a lot better than Katie in those last two pictures. She might not be "beautiful", but she has a natural look to her that Katie doesn't, in my opinion.

This may sound weird but I think Maggie is best looking in motion as opposed to pictures. Like I don't think any picture of her really catches her beauty.
