Maggie is a good replacement ... I wonder if she was considered for the original Rachel role in BB?

I think it was Joblo.com, but I read Natalie Portman and Kerri Russell were the other actresses considered. Neither was willing to read for the part with Bale, only Katie did ... thus, she won by default.

I always felt McAdams was too big an actress for a replacement role. Though I wouldn't mind her replacing Dunst in Spider-Man.

She was decent, but I think Mags has better skills.

I think Maggie has the skills to turn Rachel into a strong, rememberale character.

I was rooting for Katie leading up to the release. Than that whole TomKat thing happened. She hardly talked about BB during interviews. It was all about Tom. It annoyed me and I think alot of other people were too. I think it was what got her booted in the end.

I've said it before, but just because Chris and Dave were both thinking of Katie's "assets" while writing the role, it doesn't mean that they didn't shoot a little higher than Dawson's Creek caliber actors when casting before settling for you know who

Don't blame the production people for Katie Holmes not coming back to do the role for Racheal. They had to make a choice, and I know that they wanted to bring all of the original cast back.

Yet, what can you do, I mean Katie Holmes lately has made some terrible choices, and continues to make them. She might be filming another movie, doesn't mean she can't work multiple shots.

Oh well Gyen...whatever her name is, is going to pick up the slack it looks like, and thats that!

Tom is too busy running MGM &U.A. and filming Lions for Lambs to hang out *everyday* at New Orleans. Warner unhappy with Tom and Katie when I read the opposite in New York Times and Daily News Hollywood section on Warner's interest on TC and including Fox,Paramount,Disney but MGM and U.A. wants his loyalty proven first.
Which makes sense he turned down 2 WB projects including his hesitancy to do Watchmen.
