The Reboot Joker

I doubt that would would be accepted in the script anyway. It's far too adultish.

They should do nothing that involves Batman, the Joker, & sex. I hate things like that...it just doesn't fit, imo. Like hafizbat said, TDK did this perfectly by having the contrast be Batman as a protector versus the Joker as an agent of chaos.

Let's get that instead of turning the Joker into some type of sexual predator. It would just make all of their interactions weird & unnecessarily awkward.

I want the whole implied sexual attraction he has to Batman. He's just doing it to mess with Batman, but it's majorly creepy.

I always thought Joker was asexual, but uses people's feelings about sexuality and attraction to disturb and provoke them. That would explain why he is disinterested in Harley, yet doesn't have any male partners.

Think Silva in Skyfall and how he taunts Bond. He's not really gay for James, he just wants Bond to be uncomfortable.

But is Silva not a Joker rip-off? :o

He totally is..from the call-sign..to the ambiguity of his motives (initally speaking)..to the fact that he wants the hero to see a certain type of fatalism..to his scarred appearance..which is chemically induced..and should have killed him. To the fact that he is aware of his nuttiness.

Wow..someone must have been reading comics when the wrote Skyfall ;)

I like this take on it. I'm personally a fan of Joker teasing Bats by acting like he's attracted to him.

I don't want Batman to be seen as homophobic so if Joker is gonna tease Batman in a sexual way, I hope Batman pulls him in by the neck and goes "...you can't rattle me because The Batman swings BOTH ways!" and plants a nice wet kiss on the Joker.

:o

Not a fan of the whole sexual attraction angle. Always seemed like an over-the-top way of making Joker more unsettling than he needed to be.

Let Selina and Talia be the only rogues who want to bang Bruce.

Joker's sexual innuendo is specifically designed to break down a person's mental defences. We're all sexual beings, and we can often give into things and become aroused. If a hot woman comes over out of the blue and starts rubbing herself all over you, you're not going to push her off, are you? You'll be confused, but accepting, because it feels good.

Joker knows the human psychology just as good as Batman, and he knows how to get at you, with your own mind turned as a weapon against you. As regwec said, he's like the Devil, worse than that even.

For him, it was appropriate in Grant Morrison's Arkham Asylum story to be able to get away with the whole sexual thing with Batman and the Dr. They were both his prisoners and toys for him to play with. In the story, he's wearing women's heels....and originally, he was supposed to dress like Tim Curry in TRHPS. He was meant to be acting like a transvestite, because that's the way he decided to create himself that day.
Joker's already a flamboyant metrosexual in terms of dress and style.
Morrison decided to turn him from metrosexual to homosexual, really. Under the guise of his assexuality.
Now that, was incredibly disturbing.

But it was all done in a right circumstance.

Can it or should it be done on film? Not if you want a PG-13 movie :hehe:

But it's different from stockings and suspenders and grabbing Batman's ass :D

JeZAZ :awesome:

Even his lines in AA are pretty bad
"How's the Boy Wonder? Started shaving yet?" That's pedophiliac at best :wow:

I wonder what Shumachers Joker would have been like? Or Burtons Mr. Freeze?

If they only swapped around lol

Mr. Freeze would probably be literally made out of ice and Joker? He would be on broadway singing and dancing :p

Yeah, probably. Imagine James Camerons Mr. Freeze?

Ah, not Avatar-Cameron, i meant earlier James cameron like Terminator 1. that Mr. Freeze would have been an ICE-cold killer. Yes i made a ice-pun. What can i say, Arnold taught me well through the years. :hehe:

But seriously, I think it'd be awesome if Joker said something like "You've come back, sweetie."

Something that wasn't obnoxious like a buttgrab, but implies homoerotic behavior on Joker's part. That by acting gay, he's drawing attention away from who he is and more on the duality between the two characters.

Also, saying something offputting and strange isn't above his character.

And let's have him actually tell sadistic jokes this time?

I loved how evil and sick they were in AA.

I'm still pissed we never got to see Burton's Batman Forever. I wish they would've let Burton do 3 movies. They could have hired Joel for the fourth one... :/

Burton would've cast Robin Williams as Riddler and obviously Billy Dee Williams would have been Two Face. Sounds awesome.

If Batman is older in this movie, then Batman's whole world is older. That includes Joker.

An older Joker paves the way perfectly to, at last, let Mark Hamill BE the Joker:

Clearly not, as Superman, Wonder Woman, and Alfred are the same age as usual.

All of the press releases talk about Batman being older and weary. It appears obvious, to me at least, that the DCCU has a Batman that predates Superman and Wonder Woman, and that he's been in operation for at least 10 years.

"When asked how Affleck’s take on Batman will differ from Christian Bale’s Batman, the “Argo” actor/director didn’t really answer, but said his version wouldn’t “compete” with the “The Dark Knight” trilogy that came before it.

“I don’t want to give away too much, but the idea for the new Batman is to redefine him in a way that doesn’t compete with Bale and Christopher Nolan's Batman but still exists within the Batman canon,” he said. “It will be an older and wiser version, particularly as he relates to Henry Cavill’s Superman character.”
