Eight years will have passed between TDK's and BvS's releases. Eight long, Jokerless years. I'm sure that people will feel ready to see him again by then.
Good point. It's so weird. It doesn't seem like TDK was that long ago, i remember going through those virals like it was yesterday. The viral marketing on that movie was insane.... nothing has even come close since
This was easily one of my favorite pictures of Joker, i remember first seeing it in Wizard magazine, but i don't think that shot made it into the movie.
If Batfleck gets his own film series, I hope the focus is on the classic rogues gallery (Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman, Riddler, Penguin, Mr. Freeze).. I'd love to see a supernatural Ra's and a more extreme Scarecrow as well. Clayface is at the top of my list of villains that I want to see who haven't been in a film before.
and if we only get one Batfleck movie, Joker has to be the villain. I'd love an adaptation of the Arkham Asylum graphic novel combined with the Arkham Asylum video game. An Arkham takeover film has so much potential to be the ultimate Batman movie. You can cram in as many cameos as you want, and its not hokey, it works well within the context of the story. And since Batfleck is an established Batman, you don't need to waste time explaining the backstory of every villain. In an Arkham takeover film, there could be multiple villains without the story seeming crammed. If Batfleck only does one film, an Arkham film is the way to go.
