First, there's still Hulk and Namor distribution rights at Universal, and Spider-Man at Sony.

And even if Marvel had them back, this thread needs to stay open forever. It's one of the most significant historic threads on the Hype if not THE most significant.

Yes, unless the untitled films are FF or Silver Surfer, and there is some real progress made on them (treatment or concept art). CapCom is rumored to have been working from some time on X-Men and FF characters for Marvel vs Capcom Infinity, even when those characters were "banned" due to the rights feud. If CapCom did some work "just in case", with inside info of this deal, Marvel surely did something.

That, and the FF embargo has been more lax lately. Walgreens has FF Marvel Legends figures, etc. That also tells me they knew something.

Also, Marvel doesn't get just the rights, Disney bough all of Fox (movie studio), so any progress made on that Doom movie that was talked about in comic con is now Disney's. If it is salvageable, it can be reworked into the MCU in the short run.

I'm hoping Marvel saw this coming and had planned accordingly. Fiege said they had 20 films planned for the future? Well, they just got at least two additions that fans will be clamoring to see sooner rather than later.

True, though deal officially closes in 12-18 months likely based on what was said in other thread. Disney cannot "officially" make Doom an MCU movie at this point because FOX will still be FOX until that point. I would imagine we maybe get like a Baxter Building or X-Mansion tease or something, but we probably won't be seeing proper FF or X-Men stuff happening until 2020.

My bet, Silver Surfer and Galactus appear in GotG3. Not sure where we will first see the FF at this point yet. Need to see more of the slate.

With hawley making it would probably be my most anticipated film in phase 4.

One way you can retcon Wolverine into the MCU and say they were always there: hire a young guy that was in Captain America: TFA. That way it's canon and you can say "see! We planned this!"

I think more likely, FOX could maybe sign some agreement to let the FF appear in the MCU (so long as it is not an FF film like Hulk or Spider-Man) as a temporary measure until this closes. From there, I assume Marvel will want to do their own thing. I see Doom being scrapped and he will just be a recurring villain of the MCU like Loki, and he will first appear in the FF film or in some post-credits tease.
