Who said it had space flight capability
So ironman flies into that portal? Maybe? Guess that's where he gets to show off thespace flight capabilities of his new armor
The Negative Zone would be sweet. Especially if it involved annhilusI *do* think Iron Man gets a chance to show off some astro-nut armor (there seems to be at least a portion of the movie which takes place in space), but I don't know that the portal necessary leads to outer space....probably to another dimension instead. If not one of the "Nine Realms" of the Thorverse, maybe a distant planet, or even something like the N-Zone.

I think Fox holds the rights of Negative Zone, Annihilus, and anything that pertains to Fantastic Four until they let the rights revert back to Marvel.
It could be the bottom layer of the Hulkbuster Armor being Assembled.

Characters, places and things "attached" to the Fantastic Four is a huge, huge expanse. I highly doubt Fox was able to license "all things Fantastic Four," as we've already seen proof that Marvel Studios has the rights to an Inhumans project in development, that Carol Danvers has been mentioned as a recurring character on ABC-TV's upcoming "Aka Jessica Jones" series, which would indicate the presence of the Kree; etc.
I think a lot of Marvel fans these days would be surprised to learn just how many of their favorite heroes and villains actually began in FF comics.
Well, I think Fox has the rights of Skrulls and/or Super Skrulls, in addition to Silver Surfer, Galactus, and other characters from FF universe. However, Marvel does have the rights of the Inhumans which were part of FF as well. Frankly, I'd like Marvel to just reveal what they have the rights of, instead of keeping us guessing.
Feige already confirmed the Skrulls were with Marvel. That's where the speculation first started.Well, I think Fox has the rights of Skrulls and/or Super Skrulls, in addition to Silver Surfer, Galactus, and other characters from FF universe. Oh dear, these Skrulls...Loki really outdid himself this time...I saw the clip of Iron Man blasting the butts off those aliens and the action sequence just gave me chills all over. His new suit (MK 6, right?) is pretty awesome though I'm wondering what he did with the triangle center.
The rights I want Marvel to get back the most are the F4. Imagine Stark just popping over to the Baxter building for a chat with Reed Richards about the Negative Zone or something?
And the F4 and the characters that come along with them are needed for a proper cosmic side to the MCU. An Annihilation trilogy is my dream.![]()
Ive been a bit bored today so I rewatched IM2. I began pausing at the part where Tony is reading his fathers notes. The last page of notes references "the zeeman effect" which I then googled. All of the science aside, this effect has a electric version or something called "the stark effect" which is in reference to johannes stark, some old school scientist. Probably doesn't have to do with anything, but its skill pretty amazing the amount of detail that went in to making these movies. Did everyone already know all of this? Oh well.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it in this thread but I think we should all congratulate Robert Downey and his wife for having a healthy baby boy, Exton Elias.
