Meh design and making him a robot or a guy in a mech suit is random&pretty bad,Everything else looks overall good to me though!!

It's an interesting poster. Still kinda cool, but seems a bit more muddled than the Wolverine one which was more simple and elegant.

I really liked that they gave Silver Samurai a character poster, I was hoping that they would release one. And Origins didn't have character posters except for Wolverine, so this is good!

My only criticism about the poster is the pose of Silver Samurai, he's just standing.

I hope there's a poster for Yukio, Viper and Mariko!

Silver Samurai Sentinel. :awesome:

Since Silver Samurai looks great in that screenshot.

I have a feeling the Sentinels in DOFP will look great too and similar to their appearance in the comics.

I like the new Silver Samurai poster, this film has a pretty good poster campaign overall.

ok, this image looks a little different from the Trailer Footage. The sword sheath is at his waist, instead of on his back, And the sword looks almost like energy?? idk

:wow: This sent me to Youtube as I realized I must have missed some new footage, the Cinemacon trailer is awesome, this shot and more shots from Wolverine vs the Ninja's looked fantastic.

Heard some good things on a /film podcast from Germain Lussier about the first 20 minutes of the film. "The first 20 minutes of the movie looked great. Like, it was way better than all the trailers you've seen." "It just has a really great tone and pace and I was very excited about it." He doesn't think it'll be one of the bigger money grossers at the BO though because of how entrenched in its Japanese storyline it is.

I'll be making up my own mind regardless of what the pro critics decide later down the line but I'd thought I'd share.

Link?

They should produce more of those Sumi ink-style posters, they're so much better than the obviously photo-shopped Wolverine yelling ones and they seem to genuinely create some positive buzz.

The more that comes out for this, the more excited I get.

Cautiously optimistic ...

I just wish they'd start marketing it! No one knows it's coming out. There's more hype around DOFP and that's not out for more than a year yet.

It has been quiet, but might be picking up. I did see the trailer before Iron Man 3 ...

I don't see how being entrenched in its Japanese storyline is a negative for box office results. Japanese culture is seen as pretty damn cool in my experience. The reason it won't be one of the biggest grossers is the recent history of the X-Films (minus First Class). Simple.

yeah it's really sad the harm Origins did to the character

if this movie came out back in 08 or 09 or whenever it was, people would be giddy in anticipation

James Mangold & Hugh Jackman (on top of shooting DOFP) doing THE WOLVERINE reshoots up in Toronto. Possible post credit/stinger scene? RT

So glad they're going full on with the Japanese elements. Will be fun to follow along with the dialogue when they're talking in Japanese while all the plebs will have to follow subtitles.

Cutting it a little close aren't they?

Yeah and they should release a character poster for Viper, Yukio and Mariko.
