Another unnecessary change.Am I the only one who finds the double "M" on the boots to be ugly as all get out?

Another unnecessary change.
I can only speak for myself, but I'd disagree. The piping and belt always seemed off to me in MOS, but not enough to be a big deal. Here they've refined the design enough to where it looks well integrated with the rest of the suit. I can't say I'm bothered about any element of the suit anymore.I have the feeling that if this BvS suit had been used in Man Of Steel and the MOS suit used in Batman v Superman that everyone would still be saying how much they liked the improvements.

It's stuff like that I don't even notice.
Another unnecessary change.
I won't be looking at his boots much so it doesn't bother me.
Is there a full-hd version of this official pic? Here's the non-filtered version:

But it's actually more authentic looking to my eyes because I grew up with Curt Swan's Superman and that is how he drew the boots. The MOS boots were very close, but the BvS double M is actually more accurate. I'm still not sure about the square buckle but will have to see more pictures before I can say yea or nay on it.
I hated the new boots when I first saw them, but from a distance...
... that's about right. Which means the rectangular button is my only nitpick with the new suit.
I'm very curious to see what that new S shield looks like from the front, with that line/pattern running through it.

I think the sides of the buckle are actually slightly angled or canted. Could be wrong though.![]()

Fudge it. I just prefer the old boots.
Agreed. For those concerned about the size of the emblem on the new Superman costume, I created the following juxtaposition from the official BvS image and a screenshot of Cav-El taken from my personal MoS DVD. In both pictures, his chest can be observed from nearly the same angle.
Here are my brief thoughts: Although not as large as the original, the new shield isn't significantly smaller. Changes to the length of its individual sides as well as Cavill's barrel chest should be taken into consideration as well.
Judge for yourself though.

If you haven't seen it, check out the SUPERDUPER hi-res one posted last night, definitely just a rectangle.

Look up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's... wait, is the buckle oval or square?I'm wondering if perhaps the square "buckle" is so that it will show up better from a distance.

Looking at these two photos, I'm wondering if the S is actually the same size and the collar is just a little higher? Not sure...
