It really isn't any different from any other form of media. Sooner or later it will update again. That's why I don't take these changes personally (whether I like it or not).

Do you guys think that as time passes, we should eventually lose the pipe lines around Superman's torso/waist and just have the suit be cleaned of it? I just realized that between the suit in BvS and the one from MOS, the lines on Superman's current costumed seemed more naturally phased into his costume as opposed to the ones on his MOS costume.

New 52 is doing something extremely different with the story so I'm fine with whatever they do with that. Cavill's suit on the other hand... my god... looks out of this world wonderful.

Oh, yes. It blows, but not quite as hard as the New 52 suit and its later revisions, as the T shirt thing is almost an acknowledgment of its own inadequacy.

It would maybe work for a teenage Clark before he became Superman, but never on film. To me it's less believable than an alien in a cape.

I hope so.

I don't know why, but the BvS suit looks like a massive improvement over the Mos suit, even though they're mostly the same. The colors in that scene where he catches the truck also seem brighter than they do everywhere else.
