Which supposed to be? If you're referring to the old theme of Supes and you expect it to be THE theme for this movie, don't count it.

Oh yeah im sure they will ditch alot of old stuff. I'm banking on getting thrown a bone here and there. I do want them to create something even more timeless with this new story. They will keep it classy and relevant im sure..

The Amazing Superman. It looks like he and the new Spiderman have the same tailor.

It looks good, but he really needs a belt and that "S" is way too fat.

The S is a callback to some of its first appearances.

Superman has no need for armor plating in his suit, Batman on the other hand..

Bingo.

Yeah the suit is perfect for live action. Tbh I always felt something was wrong with the Superman Returns outfit. It looked more like Superman jammies that you'd find in aisle 5 of your local Target. Whether it's the baby blue, the small modified emblem, the corny emblem belt buckle or the fact that the shape of the collar is the same as casual shirts that we normally wear.

The pro's definitely knew what they were doing this time. I was scared ****less that Superman's attire would suffer the same fate as the Batsuit. I thought they would make Superman look like a homeless Power Ranger or something completely awkward and different.

After seeing these newly surfaced pics of the MOS Superman suit, I dislike TDK suit even more. We could have a batman suit with the same material and "assume" the armor would be underneath without it being layered on top in puzzle pieces over chainmail.

Hopefully in 6 years or so the costume designers for the reboot use a similar style and material.

Yes, I think the general point is that, by opting to continue using rubber wetsuits, Nolan was choosing 1980s technology instead of the future.

I just watched Begins on Blu-ray and all I have to say is WOW. I had forgotten how great it is, you could cut the atmosphere with a chainsaw (American Psycho pun totally intended). To me it will be the definitive Batfilm of Nolan's run, unless he does something absolutely mindblowing with Rises. It just feels RIGHT and totally BATMAN. A lot more so than TDK ever did.

I guess I just feel so lucky that I have 2 magnificent films that touch upon different elements of the Batman mythos, its tone and characters/characterization. Here's hoping than TDKR will be equally different than the other 2.

i gotta admit... Cavill REALLY has a great Superman build. I mean, that guy truly looks like how i imagined a real life Supes. Impressive is an understatement.

I just have to say this.... I dislike it when the Batsuit looks too clean. I'd like to see some dirt and scratches on it or some fading here and there. Unless Bruce spends time every night cleaning, shining and painting over scratches on the Batsuit.

He's at home, washing his tights!!!!
