If it could be based more off of Sam Flynn's, go with that.

Excellent idea. every one of these designs looks more mobile than the tdk suit and visually is just better. I wonder why i was verbally raped for sugesting this 400 pages back.
Some people don't like change.

Somebody needs to manip a cape and cowl onto that pic of the guy in front of the plywood door

I didn't read any "verbal rape" from anyone suggesting a more Tron inspired costume.

Or maybe I just ignored the stupidity?

the TDK suit is rubber too. With mesh underneath. And hard plastic rubber covered pieces on the chest.

Yeah, I know.

That's why I said the Tron suits look MORE like rubber than the TDK suit does.

12 words. That's all. In English.

Or these?

This picture looks to be the best to become a batsuit. Aside from the torso and the thighs it looks quite armoured, I especially like the arm design over The Dark Knight version. But all we can really do is hope now that the technology has visibly improved, as seen in Tron, Nolan decides to use a new suit, one that is still believably armoured and almost organic, like Tron, but still incredibly manoeuvrable. In my opinion, he'd be a fool to not make a new one.

While stylistically different, both the TDK and Tron suits are essentially the same idea—rubber segments over mesh. The Tron suit is certainly leaner, mainly due to the minimization of the chest overlay, but I don't think it looks any more like rubber than the TDK suit—it's just that there's a bit more rubber (READ: less segmented bits) to look at. I dunno, it will be interesting to see how these manips play out... but if I had to call it now I'd say the better result will come from toning down the TDK suit rather than building the Tron suit up.

I'm actually working on a manip right now with that image. I am modifying the design a little bit so it can look a little more armorish and removing the white lights. Hopefully it'll turn out as good as my other manips.

I'm excited to see what manip ideas you guys will come up with.

Just a very quick one. I merged TDK suit and this one, and i couldnt find a decent cape, so it really looks like somethings missing. They're all little details really, so it might be just a small diference.

Not really what i was looking for, ubt should give you guys a basic idea of how it would look like.

Absolutely nothing against your manip skills but... Tim Burton's Superman.

I know, totally not what i was looking for :hehe:
But honestly,he's too skinny to be batman and i can't make him loker bigger without ****ing everything up.

And the cape is missing, I think it would look much better with it, but i just didnt find a good pic, only a couple from action figures and it looked terrible.

but it has a lot of potential, I hop some one more skilled than me makes it justice :yay:

That manip is proof that we can have a suit similar in style and material as TDK suit without looking so pointlessly busy. I dig it enquencle !

Are you serious? It's JUST as "busy" as the tdk suit.

I disagree on that. Compare the arms and abs with TDK suit. That's just really busy. This one, while has lots of little details, looks more dynamic, at least the upper part of the body.
The legs are the same as TDK, because frankly, they just looked weak.

In my opinion, if they're going to change the batsuit for TDKR it has to be lighter, without making it look weak or vulnerable. Remember it's more like an armour, not a fashion suit.

Sorry man, but I really disagree with you. It's not only as busy as the TDK suit but it gives off an organic vibe, but more of the "icky" organic type, if I'm making any sense.

I know the manip suit is still "busy" but the segmented parts aren't as thick on top of the material to give the spacing such a deep look like TDK suit. This suit to me atleast looks more slick and streamlined, regardless of the texture and design of the actual suit.

Hey it's just my opinion but I already like that a tad better than TDK suit, as far as mobility goes I saw Tron Legacy and they all seemed to be able to move around pretty quick and smooth.
