I don't trust any comic that let's Robin's hair look like THAT.

Uh...what?
I said there are way more than 3. Meaning...MORE than 3.
I'm gonna have to ask again. I said the three smartest people were: Holt, Luthor, Babs. The. You said there were more than three.
How can there be more than three "three smartest people in the world"?

That's the nomex survival suit from BB. The armour in this concept also gives the muscular appearance in the manip, the fabric acting as a tight 'skin' which also has it's own protective qualities (fire resistant, waterproof and somewhat bulletproof like kevlar).
Obviously the actor would not actually be wearing armour underneath the suit while filming, but other scenes will show that it is the case in the context of the film.
But his skills would be the equivalent of a circus strongman, wouldn't they? While his intelligence is his strongest point when compared to actual superbeings, his actual strength and acrobatic skills would not be unsuitable for the job of a strongman.
Perhaps I'm remembering wrong, but aren't the three smartest people in the DCU:
Mr. Terrific (as stated in Infinite Crisis)
Lex Luthor
Oracle
There are WAY more than 3.
Batman is obviously one of them. Others being Deathstroke, T. O. Morrow, etc.

English isn't your first language is it.
How can there be more than 3 smartest people in the world?
By there being 4, 5, 6, and on.
Well then your initial response has no bearing on what I said and makes no sense.
Mr Terrific says he is the 3rd smartest human.
So who is number 1 and number 2?
Oracle has an eidetic memory (otherwise known as a photographic memory), and that doesn't automatically make someone intelligent; intelligence is more than sheer recall.Luthor and Oracle. Oracle's mind and memory work's similar to Holt's in that she only needs to see things once and she remembers it.
Luthor is always near the top. I suppose Dr Morrow must be, too, and probably the Calculator. How about Rip Hunter?
Slade Wilson is an interesting point. As a methahuman, he is able to use a greater proportion of the processing power of his brain than most humans. In theory, that should make him the smartest of all. But the application of this talent generally seems to be battlefield tactics and quick thinking in combat. He isn't about to invent an army of invisible nano bots that infiltrate the inner ears of the JLA and take over their brains.

Luthor and Oracle. Oracle's mind and memory work's similar to Holt's in that she only needs to see things once and she remembers it. Luthor as he is the most brilliant inventor on the planet, and was stated so as before, though, that could be inflated ego.
I'd say Bruce is probably 5 or 6.
Not counting individuals with metahuman intelligence (like Superman), I've always assumed that when DC calls Holt "The third smartest man in the world," the other two are Luthor and Batman.
However, the reason they say things like that without specifying is so there's no absolute answer; it's meant to be open to interpretation.
Superman, as the result of his Kryptonian physiology, basically has a super-brain that makes him potentially smarter than any of them, though he's not often written that way in modern continuity. Additionally, whether Superman has the understanding, imagination, and creativity to employ his super-calculator of a brain is another matter. He certainly had those traits in All-Star, where he was undoubtedly the smartest man alive.
That panel above where Batman says the Penguin is smarter than he is, though, is absurd.
I think it's fine for Superman to retain his super intelligence, because he doesn't have a tactical or investigative mind--for solving mysteries, for strategy, and the other areas that Batman specializes in, Batman remains the better choice.Agreed. Though I prefer Superman to not have superhuman intellect, as it kind of makes Batman seem a bit less relevant in the Justice League, since he is the smart guy.

If you need someone to build a miracle machine, on the other hand, or read and understand someone's genetic code on sight, well, you should probably talk to Superman.
Damnit Alfred, what are you putting in Batman's coffee!?!?

I think this suit looks really classy. Cool stuff.![]()
A better way of interpreting it is Supes functions as Mycroft, to Bruce's Sherlock.I always thought of Batman as the smarter of the two. Making Superman have a superhuman intellect makes him too powerful in my opinion. Plus, he really doesn't need it.

I don't understand the analogy.
Mycroft, Sherlock's brother, is of superior intellect and deductive prowess. However his lack of ambition and ability to apply his natural talents makes him an inferior detective.I don't understand the analogy.

In other words Supes has the capability of being far smarter than Bruce, but because his priorities are more inclined towards activities that don't exert as much mental function, he has little use of it. Bruce on the other hand relies on his brain. It permeates his entire life. Coupled with his unmatched dedication to perfection, he would be considered the superior in that field.
