I actually like that. If they wait 10-years, and bring Bale and Nolan back to do an adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns ... that would certainly work as a Dark Knight version of the Iron Bat suit for the Superman fight.

Maybe I could see it working if Batman went into outer space.

That makes him look pretty damn HUGE.
I don't really dig the 'digital' camouflage textures though.

It looks a lot like that one TDK Rises fan made suit. It's the very bulky Halo styled one with the golden emblem on the pecks and both shoulders.

Here is a computer generated vaguely similar one ...

... hijacked from elsewhere on SHH.

Yes, that's the one I was talking about. Tbh it would look cool as a suit he would use for special occasions in the comics. TDK rubber plated suit already looks heavy enough, I can't imagine Bats wearing something that bulky in a film. It looks like it's at least three times heavier than the BB outfit. Forget about Bane, the actual suit will injure his lower back.

Yup, I was always a fan of digital gray camo for the bodysuit if one were to go gray. A few manips popped up on that theme a while back.

I've seen that one a couple of times. Not my cup of tea.

It is a well-rendered design. However, I don't like a standard Batman suit to be too tech-based. He supposed to seem like a creature. The contemporary equipment and delineations framing the outer armor are counterintuitive to the illusion.

I would prefer him to look otherworldly and haunted. As if he is an animal that simply hasn't been discovered or recorded yet by the scientific establishment.

I would prefer white eyes and large 'horn-like' ears similar to his first design. One should confirm his humanity only after close contact and repeated exposure.

I love that tech suit, but it's also a fantastic rendering, which helps. I wouldn't complain though if Bats comes back to fight Bane with something like that in TDKR though.

What I would love to see is Bruce for a bit strip down the technology and go with a design based upon his ninja heritage. How about lamelar armor? Or a similar chest plate type design they were using in the first one?

I know there is absolutely no reason for him to ever go back story wise. But it still would look cool.

The Tron look is ninja-esque to me.

Thanks for the kind words. I kind of got the idea from some of TDK dolls where the suit is dark but the plates are lighter. I believe it's the best way to give Batman the trademark black and gray look. I also altered the cowl, attached the cape to the neck and made the neck area black. I think I gave Batman a meaner look, unless that was done on a different manip. Yeah, it's late here.

Batman has the same mobility suit however it's also more of a comic accurate look. This way everyone can be happy, or happier.

If you were to lose the two-tone on the breast plate (i.e., make the lower section darker and omit the diagonal line and carbon weave) and stretch the logo out to make it a bit bigger you'd be pretty close to making the TDK suit looks as good as that concept can look.

Those are some impressive animations but it's the same as the Arkham suit, except the mask looks like a combination of the Keaton and Bale cowls.

I can't wait to see the discussions in this thread when the new batsuit is finally revealed, ya know like a whole year from now lol.

I can't believe people are actually arguing about Batman looking more creature like. If all you want is a guy in armor then wtf is the point of him even dressing up like a bat? The bat Motif is to scare the **** out of people, not make them fear his poor fashion sense.
