Before Begins, what had Nolan done other than Memento?.

I wasn't being sarcastic or arrogant.

I genuinely was just asking what other movies/shows he may have been involved in so I could check them out.

Oh.. My bad. Well D9 was his motion picture directorial debut. Other than that he had done special effects work as a 3D animator for various TV shows like SG-1, and Smallville. He had a few short films, his most famous being the Halo short called "Landfall".

In the City Hall filming, did anyone see any differences in the Suit? I couldnt spot anything different, so hes pretty much using TDK suit. Which leads me to speculate that the City Hall riot scene is somwhere in the beginning or early on in the movie. That would entail the Batwing being revealed early on too, because i saw a couple of pictures of some cops and swat guys looking up and cheering.

Huh? When have i ever been profane or called anyone names, except i called you a troll and ill prove to you why.

"His little ant neck holding up a bowling ball with spikey ears, and the horrid patterns all over the suit. It's ill-fitting and ugly. " And THAT, folks, is why TDK suit does NOT look like Batman -

I hate TDK suit. I don't care how it will be defended with functionality and mobility. So what? That's no excuse for how bad it looks. They could have had the same functionality and made it look 10 times better. I just don't see how people can think that something that bad can look so good. -

That belt was a joke. I mean really. There is no way all that stuff slides from his back out of non existence. He's Batman not Marry Poppins

Nipples on his knees!!!! Jagged senseless overly busy leg plating. The bat bra with a tiny unnoticeable bat symbol. Here Batman looks more like the tumbler. The car should reflect the man, not the other way around. I like the idea behind it but the overall design is simply uninspired. We've seen better fan art than that piece of crap.

That last one really ticked me off. You sir are a troll. Your not here to express your opinion. Your here to force it on people that love TDK suit. Like i said before, theres always a way of expressing your opinion in a civil manner. But like the false claim you made earlier about being "civil"..the above posts you made contradict that. Your taking a dump all over something that i Love, and i cant just sit here quietly and not say anything.
Again man, let it go. Move on. Don't take it personal because I don't like something. I'm not trying to tick anyone off by expressing that. You have no relation or affiliation to Linda Heming or Chris Nolan so it's not like I've insulted your family. You keep making this a personal debate. Read the FAQ line below trolling and then I strongly advise you to let it go.

And why's that? You honestly thought Porter was a bad Batman...?

I'm going to use a tired and almost insulting cliche, but I hope nobody here ever becomes a casting director.
lol I agree with that.

Teen Spider-Man? Heavens, what are they thinking? To me, the new suit looks dynamic, the colors are great and the texture is cool. Most importantly, he looks wiry and lean in addition to looking powerful. Also, in what way can a Spider-Man suit appear punk or emo?
The tattoo flash art given to the suit's design that (like majik says) reflects the tone of Peter's character and wardrobe in this movie. And yes I like that he's wore wiry . If it weren't for that costume he would be a live action version of Spiderman as drawn in Civil War.

Im not taking anything personal. Im just telling you how it is. Your earlier posts were totally harsh. You use bad language and your an opinionated fellow. You hate something that i like, and thats how it is. Im not trying to change your views on the subject, simply stating what i think.

I could say the same thing to you. Your utter hate toward TDK suit makes it sound like Linda and Chris did a bad job stitching one of your family members suits. You need to let it go. :awesome:

That's okay. I checked earlier on Wiki and IMDB just to see what he had done anyway's.

No probs.

There's a reason no one is doing it. It's difficult, because the chestplate is too large, the perspective is wrong etc. I'm not saying it can't be done but the results are underwhelming to say the least.

That's mainly what I'm referring to. That and the one "doctor thug" who waited and did not struggle while Batman grabbed him and prepared to punch him in the finale.

I actually felt the best fight scene though was the opening one in the Garage. That one was well done, and the party crashing scene was good too. The rest needed improvement.

It's because HE CAN'T FREAKIN' MOVE IN THAT RUBBER SUIT EVERYONE LOVES! :woot:

It's ridiculous....he only fights guys one at a time. He's slow and not fluid as he was trained to be.....he's relying too much on the armor and not enough on his body.

In this?? He can move.....

Make the tights resemble this material....Heck Spiderman has the same kind. But keep the grey color. The fibers are super flexible and bullet proof and knife proof.... Hey...we're suspending belief anyway right??

Fox says that Wayne's more vulnerable in TDK, due to weak points in the suit so he can move better. Having a spandex covering would help disguise those weak spots. Then, when a crook sticks a knive in a spandex chest and Batman just stands there and pulls it out, it makes him look as tough as Superman.

You make it seem like some random thug Batman comes across in the TDK suit is going to get a good enough look at him to pinpoint exactly where the weakspots are.

They're not.

well if it were me I'd aim for the sections in between the plates of armor.
preferably along the torso so I could do good damage with a knife. but then again what do I know right?

Being chased by a guy dressed like a giant bat in the dark.

Yes, you will definitely be able to gather your thoughts that quickly and aim for something you won't be able to see.

Hell, if you're THAT good, aim for the mouth that's completely exposed. You know, like they did in Batman Begins?

His suit is the same in the batwing, so no new suit in this movie.

^Watch the spy videos of the batwing in 1080p and you will see that ti's the same suit.

Clear enough to notice it's the TDK suit, but that doesn't mean there isn't a new suit.

Sweet. I'm not against a new suit but I'm also one of those who is more than happy to keep the TDK suit.

Looks like it's going to be around for a good chunk of the movie at least.

If there is a new suit, which I still contend is a fairly substantial possibility, it would probably show up towards the end of the film.

The cloth suit is horrible, just horrible.

To those that mention how it worked so well in Spider-man, there was actually a rubber suit under the cloth, and a plastic mask under his cloth mask.
