Totally off topic and some of you may have seen it already, but I thought it might be a good way to break the tension a bit:

Aside from the fact that it's just too fast to read, it's got profanity. Big no no on the boards.

As in "Near perfect" like people who say "THE END IS NIGH!!!!" it means the end is near... But that suit is pretty sexy. Kudos...

I agree. And honestly, that's all I really wanted.

I was pretty happy with the Begins suit, I only wanted three thins to happen to it:

1.) Darken the batsymbol on the chest.
2.) Let him move his neck.
3.) Slim it down a touch.

I actually got everything I wanted. Unfortunately, then Nolan decided to surround the darkened Batsymbol with a triangle of material that was just as dark as the symbol...basically making the darkening of the Batsymbol pointless, and add the random and distracting jigsaw pattern...

But if you just darken the chest symbol and cape/cowl area, and leave the rest of the body the same shade of dark gray, the jigsaw design is less noticeable and distracting, because the eye is drawn to the darker shades on the costume.

Why we can't get something like this I don't know....

Agreed. I'd also like the cape to be more prominently over his shoulders, maybe come down to his collarbones to help with that effect.

And maybe a less fat looking Bat emblem on the chest.

Basically I made everything a bit darker, widened the mouth a little bit, straightened the ears a little bit, removed some of the jigsaw pieces of the legs, and gave him black manties just for fun.

Darkening it is an improvement.

However, the legs being so plain looks sort of off with how complicated the upper body is. Maybe find a balance between those two.

That's awesome! I'd still like to see the Burton-era logo, though. The Earth One and Batman: Incorporated versions do a great job updating their suits with it.

I wouldn't want them to introduce the ellipse at this point. One of the best things about Nolan's Batman is that stylized Bat-Logo. I want that to be used. Save the yellow shield thing for a movie that's concerned with Batman: Incorporated and/or Earth One. (Or Batman, with Robin the Boy Wonder).

I loved TDK batsuit and the redesign. It was great. i don't see a huge need to redesign it for the 3rd film, but if they can top it, i'm all for it.

Thanks for all the kind comments, everyone. All I did was make a few tweaks to an already awesome manip by bane.

I think it could work being two-toned, as long as the gray is a darker, and I've always thought the ears should have been more straight, but that's just my opinion. And I kept some of the leg jigsaw pieces because he's got to be able to move a little bit, and that way it still kinda matches the top half of the suit. Anyway, thanks again for the nice comments!
