It's kind of like the original emblem.... something basic and small. My complaint is you can barely notice it in the body-sized maze. I hope they're not ashamed of the emblem that they're trying to hide it.

Ok thats why. Thanks.

My favorite scenes where the cowl looked great, was when he was talking to Gordon at the top of Arkham, and then calls his bats. I also thought it looked good in The Tumbler chase.

I agree.

That's not it at all actually, they wanted to use the new official bat logo on the BB suit as well but it just didn't work so they scrapped it.

I personally feel like that chest plate on the armor on TDK suit couldve easily been made the bat symbol itself, and have no clue in the world why they went with what they did, the symbol looks terrible on that suit.

It's almost like it was literally the least important thing on the suit that they cared about, they were more concerned with making puzzle pieces fit.

I see it all now. Thanks.

WHAT? REALLY? OH HELL NAW!!!
I like the Nolan bat for the bat signal, but not on Batman. He should stick with the BB one that he also had in comics until recently.

Ha, yeah, Lindy Hemming said she tried to make it work on the BB suit, but it just looked odd, so they rounded off the wings, so it contoured to the chest better.

A bit shocked when I saw they went back to a design they already admitted to saying didn't work before.

Wow that sounds crazy. It took what...10 years for pics of Burton's Superman suit to leak? I hope someone leaks some pics of the Armie Hammer suit just to see what it looks like.

I love the yellow emblem and always thought it would be best if Batman started out with the black emblem and then changed to the yellow one, like the comics chronology. I doubt Nolan will do that though. I suppose keeping the black emblem just flows better.

Ya the official logo isn't very form fitting when it comes to putting it on the chest which is why I like the BB chest symbol, well for the suit it fits perfectly IMO.

Agreed. I liked the BB chest logo, always wondered why it wasn't anywhere else in Nolan's world.

I like TDK suit but just feel this one was more intimidating.

I believe that's why the V-plate is on the chest of the TDK suit; I think it's meant to lift the symbol so it sits properly and doesn't vanish into the crevice of the chest.

Whether or not it was successful is another matter.

The BB suit looks neat, classy, simple, right to the point and above all it looks like Batman. There were some pretty damn good shots in the movie with that costume. R.I.P., you are very much missed!

Unfortunately that promo pic above makes me cringe, that doswnt look like how the batsuit should be to me.

Most of the Batman merchandise drawings made me cringe for TDK suit...

If I had to pick between the Nolan suits, it'd still be the Begins one, even with its MANY,MANY faults.

I think what they need to do is mix the last two suits. The chest piece from BB with the arms of the TDK suit. I think the design needs to be less ''broken'' everywhere. Only in some places is it needed like the arms.

Agreed. I liked the BB chest logo, always wondered why it wasn't anywhere else in Nolan's world.

I think this may be my all time favorite bat-film-related photo.

The cape needs to be the same tone of black as the suit, or vice versa. It doesn't look as bad in the film but the contract between the two blacks is jarring and doesn't mesh well. That's one thing Schumacher got right, the cape felt like an extension of the suit. Here it looks like Batman put a large velvet blanket on his back as an after thought.

I think this may be my all time favorite bat-film-related photo.

Agreed, it's a great pic. Only thing I don't like are the clasps.

I disagree, I think the cape should be noticeably darker than his suit, and so should the cowl, boots, gauntlets, and bat emblem. I think it looks really cool, like he's wrapped up in the darkest shadow.
