If anything, Quitely is under-appreciated.

No, it just means that I believe he's overrated. Others are free to like his work, and they do. Opinions, including "overrated" or "under-rated" are always inherently subjective. That said, opinions do form a kind of truth for the individual. For me, Quitely is overrated and for Saint he's under-rated. Both are valid. Majority opinion also does not remove a view's subjective nature, despite popular opinion.

But Quitely isn't overrated. There are not enough people that rate him highly to be overrated. It's like saying TDK is underrated.

He's fairly popular here. Less so on forums that revile Morrison's run, but he does have a fan base.

...as long as they evolve the suit again 'cause I honestly wasn't that keen on the TDK suit in its entirety; parts worked, but not as a whole.

Give me a live action intrepretation of the Arkham Asylum suit and I'm in heaven!

Really? Quitley always seemed popular to me. He's one of my favourite artists currently working (certainly helped by working on my favourite Superman story and my favourite Batman era. Yes, yes, I love Morrison's Batman run enormously, sue me.), his art has such... colour and movement to it. It feels very alive.

Bit iffy on the faces though.

I wish he stopped with the creases and put some effort to improve his faces. Every face he draws looks like the Frankenstein monster. Other than that yeah he is awesome.

Different strokes, I suppose. I love Sale. I definitely agree with Saint that Nguyan is one of, if not the key Batman artists of our time.

Capes like that always make me think of a thin, soft leather.

Exactly. Something with a nice shine, but is flexible and smooth.

A nice compromise between Batman Returns (looked nice, but heavy as hell) and Batman Begins/TDK (moved decently, but looked like crap) would be great.

Hopefully they not only fix the Batsuit in TDKR, but we also get a nice shot like the one David Finch drew.

I dont like leather. Maybe some sort of rubber cape would be better. I mean there has to be a rubber quality that achieves this look. Schumacher's and the Superman Returns capes didnt.
