whats interesting with TDKR is that there is no news about the trailer. we all know that studios realese their trailers with big movies. no mater wchich studio it is. TDKR would have to be with Avengers. Dark Shadows is a comedy.

but Avengers comes out in 2 weeks.

Some people I know are afraid to let their expectations get too high, afraid of being disappointed.

I say F that. I'm marching in with my head held high expecting nothing but the best. I feel like the filmmakers deserve our very highest of expectations because that's what they thrive on. They've surpassed them twice for me, now I'm looking for one more. If it falls short, so be it. I won't regret getting myself hyped because everything I've seen has shown so much promise to me. And especially since is the last time we'll ever be able to anticipate a Nolan Bat-film.

I would like to say I give up on the hype after this film, because i only stumbled on this place after reading that Nolan was attached to this film back in 03, but we all know it's not that easy.

I wouldn't be able to take all the trolls flooding in here and laughing if TDKR fails, I love taking the moral high ground and saying that there should be no Batman v Avengers, only comic book fans, and we win either way....but come on, deep deep down inside in my shamefull area where i like to ******* in my own ****...I want Avengers to die a horrible death and Batman to prevail.

It really just occured to me after reading the last couple pages how weird it would be if this thing totally bombs. I mean I realize its Nolan, the first two films were amazing, but thats what would make it so much more painful. Im getting nervous, even though I know its totally unfounded, there is the slight possibility this movie could be terrible. what if....

Eh, it's no moral high ground situation for me. Whilst I prefer the Batman character and Nolan's take over all else, I still really like the Marvel characters and want to see their films suceed.

I mean I realize its Nolan, the first two films were amazing, but thats what would make it so much more painful. Im getting nervous, even though I know its totally unfounded, there is the slight possibility this movie could be terrible. what if....

I'm nervous too as I've heard a few things that on paper sound a bit naff.

And that's precisely why Nolan had more to lose than gain by making this movie, except from a financial standpoint. He hasn't made any bad movies yet. You have to figure it will happen at some point. Could very well be this one. Tons of pressure on him to deliver since it is a popular franchise. If he delivers, he'll be an immortal with the fanboys on here. If he fails, he'll go into the trash heap right next to Sam Raimi and Bryan Singer.

In seriousness this is going to probably be the hardest time for us and this film. It's a lot of 08' all over again.

Avengers is going to come out and It's apparently going to be not only good but magnificent and awe inspiring (awesome!) and everyone is going to come here and say:

"I'm worried about TDKR" "TDKR can't be as good" "Forget TDKR"

and we're just going to be stuck with a picture of freakin' stock broker #2 toy, twiddling our thumbs until July.
