No, he got hurt during Selina's strip tease, but since her backstory will be missing, we will never be told how he got hurt.

I've thought about this too. I think Blake will be related to the Nolan world and the past Batman films in some way. I think he is either related to Rachel Dawes or Gordon.

Agreed. I expect AMC to do with Batman what they did with Avengers, and hold marathons of the previous films.


Hopefully TDKR has more screenings than The Avengers did.

I love how we still are trying to make John Blake more than just a beat cop. First he was the Joker in disguise. Then he was the heir apparent and would succeed Batman once he retires or dies. Then it was that he would become Robin. Then it was that he would possess alot of the qualities of Robin. Now it is that he is Jim Gordon's son, all grown up.

I can't claim innocence here as I at one time thought he might be Robin or would have the qualities of the Boy Wonder. At this point though, I think John Blake is just a beat cop who helps Gordon and perhaps Batman take the city back from Bane.

With that said, I believe Blake will serve an important role in the overall story. I mean with all the focus on him, the fact that he has his own action figure, and well the fact that Nolan cast such a talented actor in the role certainly all lends itself to Blake being of importance to the story.

But I guess I am kinda done puzzling out who Blake is at this point. I trust Nolan and his plan for both this character and the film overall. I think it will be more fun to go in guessing and be surprised.

Not that I won't come back here from time to time to post. I like discussing Batman in all forms and enjoy some of the conversations in here. It is just as far as Blake, I think the less I think about it the better at this point. He is a beat cop who could become more by the end of the film.

if you're asking if it'll be centered around a game, I'm going to say yes.

However I think there are also plans to have a BB/TDK/TDKR event at theaters aside from a Viral game in the first week(end) of TDKR.
