Even though I know neither of those men, it makes me sad to know that they were friends, and played one of the most archetypal antipathetic relationships in fiction and their friendship was cut short.

Wasn't someone genuinely pushing for the guy that plays Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory to get the role of Riddler. Yeah... it's a shame and all, but I guess we'll have to live with Hardy, Hathaway, JGL and Cotillard.
