Good point. A break in the chase where he realises there's too many cop cars and needs to rise above them.

Perhaps it's held on the side of the batpod (can't see this fitting in his belt, lol).

Obviously, the necklace is a symbol that reminds him of his mother. I don't think that is an issue. I think Selina's aware of that and uses it against him. There is that scene in the trailer of her putting it on rather deliberately. Clearly, she knows what she's doing. On top of that, seeing that she is a thief, it would be a rather big missed opportunity to not use that scenario to link them together even further. Having her steal it, whether it's the real one that his mother wore or a replica that he recognizes, it adds more dimension to that interaction at the museum. Why are people so against this idea? Is that so utterly inconceivable? 6 or 10?

And now I want me one of those necklaces too.
