We can never make fun of Gary again. This full circle is so....full and circular.

It looks like Bane has a nametag. I hope it says, exactly as typed:

My name is...
BANE!!!!!

It has to say Bane on the name tag, it would be a great call back for his character.

oh the irony, i love it. Lol. You quote stephens after he quotes the joker, caped crusader and he immediately assumes that you don't understand where it's from. The irony here is that he didn't know stephens replies with "that's nice".

ha!

Sorry, but Stephes quote wan't very memorable. And I'm sure I could throw out hundreds of quote that no one would get without using the Google.

Anyone think we might actually get some quick insert cuts of Begins footage, like Young Bruce as the Waynes are murdered/the stethoscope moment/etc.? I think, if the shot(s) is/are chosen correctly and tastefully, kept brief, and not overdone, it could be very cool. If done right, I don't think it would feel too heavily reliant upon Begins, as even those who haven't seen Begins (for whatever stupid reason) will be able to appreciate the importance of Bruce recalling a well-placed (re: well-edited) lost moment with his parents.

Nolan obviously isn't averse to weaving such moments into his stories (ex: Dent with the coin, thinking back to Rachel catching it, many examples in Inception and The Prestige as well), and it would be kind of neat to see a cut leap from the boundaries of its own film, and draw on something from the past. Again, it would have to be done tastefully, so as to not feel like a ploy to get in old footage, but rather a simple, yet evocative visual means to highlight Bruce's mindset.

Just a thought, more than anything. Loving the new pics and the speculatory buzz they've helped bring.

I hope so batman11, I expect some flashbacks one way or another. Of all of Nolan films, The Dark Knight is the only one where he didn't use a flashback.

Quick inserts is one of Nolan's trademarks. He uses them in all his films. There had better be some quick inserts in TDKR!

It's obviously a disguise. Who would have thought Bane would be such a master of disguise in this film? :woot:

Pretty sure the lead motorbike rider with the red helmet is Bane now, but there's no great pics or footage.

Yeah if we actually do get the grave scene, I'd bet there'll be a stethoscope scene flashback/insert, would seem appropriate

Actually there is one very quick one. When Harvey wakes up in the hospital and sees his coin and remembers he gave it to Rachel.

Also during the end speech, I guess you could call them flashforwards cause it shows Gordon giving his speech about Dent and axeing the bat signal then cutting back to current time with Batman running away.

TDK is a real oddball for a Nolan film, and will probably even feel like the strange one when this trilogy is complete.

Here's more clear footage. Bane is the one with the red helmet. You can see his vest much more clearly in this video here.

There will come a time when Bane won't have to wear disguises or be quick like this, and will walk around like a boss with complete control. Which I can't wait for.

I suspect that is after he takes Batman out and traps most of the GCPD in the sewers.

Like that wonderful shot at city hall where Bane is strutting with his trademark swagger & smiling with his eyes.

I can't wait for that scene where he walks outside city hall LIKE A BOSS!

Wow, seen photo of that jump but didn't know there was video.
Can even see his nametag.

Why am I just seeing these for the first time? :wow:

Oddly enough, this might turn out to be one of most inspirational/uplifting movies in decades (referring to Batman triumphantly returning, Rocky style).

I can't imagine what it's going to be like on opening night, feeling the 8-year gap, sensing Bruce being gone for awhile, and seeing how dark and how bad the chips have fallen, and just when Bane is in total control and Gotham is at its absolute worst, Freakin' Batman suits up for one last hurrah, one last mission. It's going to be absolute electricity in the theater.

Damn. :BA
