There will come a time when Bane won't have to wear disguises or be quick like this, and will walk around like a boss with complete control. Which I can't wait for.

I just got chills thinking about it.

Bane's going to take complete control of Gotham. I can't wait for the moment when he struts out of city hall like a king. Such a great shot. It says so much.

Oddly enough, this might turn out to be one of most inspirational/uplifting movies in decades (referring to Batman triumphantly returning, Rocky style).

I can't imagine what it's going to be like on opening night, feeling the 8-year gap, sensing Bruce being gone for awhile, and seeing how dark and how bad the chips have fallen, and just when Bane is in total control and Gotham is at its absolute worst, Freakin' Batman suits up for one last hurrah, one last mission. It's going to be absolute electricity in the theater.

Damn. :BA
Absolutely. Stoop so low to reach so high.

That's the best shot of Bane so far, IMO. My anticipation for that scene in very high. I will probably get chills in the theater while it happens. I can just imagine Zimmer going crazy right at that very moment.

... which makes Batman returning so much sweeter. :wow:

I can't imagine what it'll be like when the Batwing takes flight.

In my mind, Batman's in the Black Tumbler, outnumbered by three Camo-Tumblers, and just when Bane's grinning, thinking Batman fighting was useless, he has a look of shock on his face as the Black Tumbler is driving down the middle of the street, then it gets wider and expands, and takes flight... rises off the ground. :wow:

I can imagine the scene now, with bane and his men storming towards the sxc with their bikes and the hans zimmer bane chant blaring out.

Wow...this film.

I'm learning wayyyyy too much about the plot now. This is getting a bit too spoilery.

Yeah I think the stock exchange scene is going to be awesome.

I said it ages ago, but in tennis terms, it would be like Batman down two sets, down 5-0 in the third set and Bane serving for the match at 40-0. Then Batman gets up off the canvass and fights back. Enough is enough. Evil must be washed away.

I know what you mean... If Nolan kills Bruce after all the **** he has been trough, I will immediately get up and boo very loud as I walk out.

I swear if by some miracle TDKR is nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars, just to end up losing to Lincoln, I will be P.O.ed.

Please see it in the same theater I do. That sounds hilarious.

We're in for such a wild ride on July 20, friends. Cheers to Nolan, the magnificent bastard. :yay:

i kind of dont want him to kill bruce but since none of this is canon with the comics and there will always be another batman movie i wouldn't really mind that much i mean hes not killing the movie franchise

i only hope we get this awesomeness following the nolan franchise

I wonder what would happen if TDKR actually won the Oscar for Best Picture.

That's a little extreme but the way you put it, it makes me think..mannnn he really is going through a lot of **** in not only this trilogy but this movie alone. Like..A LOT of dark and depressing stuff for one man. Im really starting to lean on the idea of Nolan ending it with something purely uplifting. Batman free, and just a really happy ending for Bruce Wayne.

The new pics are great. I am warming to Catwoman's look. She looks more visually interesting than boring looking Ra's and Scarecrow from Begins.

A nomination nowadays is enough cause to celebrate, because everyone knows that winning is entirely political, but nominations for the MOST part are at least somewhat deserved. (lets forget about that horrible tom hanks film this year)

CBM Joy Riots would breakout worldwide. The overwhelming joy the comic book and cbm community would feel would be unimaginable.

I know I'd be crying.

I don't know what I want to see more. Chris Nolan finally win Best Director because of TDKR or TDKR winning Best Picture.

I really, really want both.

Right on. Still don't get how Nolan wasn't nominated for Inception. That was...mindblowing. :oldrazz:

Good point and I agree. A nomination alone would be worth celebrating, however, I can't deny I would be somewhat disappointed if it didn't win.

I'm sure this film will be nominated plenty. The question is what will it actually win. I hope it wins at least 1 more award than TDK. I really want it to break records for a CBM. I will be watching the Oscars next year for sure... something I NEVER do.
