Ultimately Harvey Dent will be revealed as the tragic but corrupted figure that he truly was and in searching for a new ray of hope, Bruce Wayne will end up as the real martyr to properly hold the city and it's people together. Known as both the Batman and Bruce Wayne, he will likely be championed as the one late great savior of Gotham City.

Whether he will be truly dead or alive is something we'll have to see for ourselves.
