So the batpod does spin on its main axle! That against the wall TDK shot makes a lot of sense now.

Yeah this was by someone who worked on pre vis for the film:

It doesn't quite make sense because as the animation shows, the front hubs should be upside down when it lands, but in the film they're still the right way up.:oldrazz:

Well it looks like the batpod either hits some nitrous, or gets picked up by wires almost immediately after leaving the ramp, boosting it into the air at a higher trajectory. Certainly looks practical though.
It is 100% practical. :awesome:

My LA ninja peeps wouldn't lead me astray. :hrt:

To me, this can't be the best spot because I like a little dialogue in my spots. It's still great, though.

This is probably my favorite shot of the new TV spot - it's not just his back, it's his shoulder as well, implying that Bale did a great job for those shirtless moments. Just comparing to the back shot from BB, he looks way better this time. One of the small concerns I had before, now completely gone. :D

Somehow reminds me of Black Widow, but Anne looks great performing these stunts. I think that this film will completely make me change my mind about her. And is that the top of her stocking I see there? :hehe:

:wow: ... Beautiful ...

:wow: ... Seriously, I feel like I didn't know anything about this film ...

I saw some people before that said this is not Hardy, and while they might be right, I don't think that's necessarily the case. I've seen a video of myself doing pullups, and I couldn't believe I looked that big doing something like that. So not necessarily Buster or someone else. Anyhow, this shot looks AWESOME! :awesome:

Now this is where I have a little problem. Maybe it's just me, but there's a very big distance between both of them when they throw these punches at each other. Somehow they don't look real, especially when Hardy hits Batman... I dunno, maybe it will be different in the film itself, but it's very hard for me to believe they're punching each other here.

Anyway, awesome TV spot, and certainly the best one for me yet.

Any idea how they did it? I'm guessing wires lifting it off the ramp and landing it. I find it hard to believe they'd let a stuntman execute a stunt like that entirely on his own, especially with that vehicle.

Thats wicked. Thanks for sharing. For all intents and purposes now I can make sense of it. I always thought it was the pod simply turning and it looked awkward, but with the body of the pod actually spinning its pretty cool. It looks great on the TDKR shot. Im super excited!

I guess if you slo mo and put it on a loop most movie fights look fake.

The sound effects guys will make the punches be felt by the audience. And that will make up a bit for the lack of connection. At least I hope so.

When is this IMAX footage meant to be shown today? Or has that been debunked now?

It seems like many shots are still going through the color timing hence some inconsistencies. Like the shots for the Wall Streer brawl.
forgive my ignorance but can someone explain "color timing" to me?

Lack of sound effects will do that.

Something's coming…if you're a ‪#Batman‬ fan, we have a BIG surprise for you tomorrow... ‪#NokiaTDKR

I love how we haven't seen a single shot from the final fight that will happen inside the City Hall. They're keeping that one locked tight.

We're not going to be watching GIF's during the movie, of course its going to look like that when you slow it down and without sound effects.

Yeah, I can't wait to see the whole City Hall fight, especially the one on the stairs.

It's not in slo mo in the TV spot, is it?

Oh my bad, i thought you meant all of this after you saw the gif. Like Excelsior said as well, there are no sound effects either.

:ninja: says he doesn't remember the jump being that high (camera work for you :funny: ) but that it was definitely on the batpod.

I want to belieeeeve!
