Was the Goyer/Nolan moment when they both came up with the "Final shot of the trilogy" 4 years ago before or after Catwoman was brought into it?

Before.

As far as my knowledge goes, Rag talked with Bosef, Rocketman talked with Rag, and some of Rocketman's stuff matched up with what Bosef told Rag (and his info is more or less already publicly availible if you look back at his posts and very similar to Rocketmans, only typically Rocketman's stuff is bloated and more outward.). What we're lacking here, if it's not misinformation to begin with, is context. I don't think this should be a reason to slag anyone off, people have been told what they've been told like Sharkboy said.

It's not just the ending though is it. I commented on a particular post some time ago that began by saying with certainty that Dick Grayson was in the film, and ended a few lines later by saying that he might be in the films.

No offence to anyone, but I dislike it when people try to cover their backs.

How so? Bosef was the one that came out with the idea of them living happily ever after.

Whoever it was it's hardly a massive leap in logic is it. :cwink:

If it happens I am sure that individual will be telling us from the rootops that they broke the news first, and if it doesn't happen they it will be forgotten who said it or be a fault of their sources.

Let's take into consideration the fact that Nolan is not too keen on romantic comedies and ****... :funny:

There's rumors that Rag heard of a Dick Grayson cameo, as in like just a shoutout. One of Black Mask, too. Nothing to do with the ending or critical to the story. Whether they pan out one can't say, but the legitimacy aside, they're kind of nebulous.

That's what i thought, which makes the Bruce/Selina runaway have babies thing alot less likely doesn't it? :csad:

Indeed, we know that Nolan and Goyer had written the ending of the trilogy at the time of BB.

No, that is not what we know, that is extremely inaccurate. Nolan wasn't even sure that he'll return for another film after BB. There wasn't anything written. Nolan and Goyer discussed the potential final scene after TDK.

The last shot has nothing to do with the conclusion. The last shot could of Gotham.

Exactly, they came up with the ending after TDK, NOT around BB. So it was still conceived very early. I believe that was still before they had Catwoman involved though....

I don't really care about when the ending was conceived, not anymore. There has been so many conflicting reports on this kind of stuff, and I get the impression Nolan has little regard for us when it comes to clouding the truth of what happens behind the scenes to the public. Even Gill mentioned he and his team have lied about some Begins "facts."

I'm sorry, but it isn't inaccurate at all. Granted, "written" may have been...a poor choice of word, but my point remains the same nonetheless. At the time of BB they had envisioned an ending for Batman (presumably should they be allowed to do more films...)

As Goyer said...

"The final scene of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is exactly [the] scene we talked about when Christopher Nolan and I started the trilogy with 'Batman Begins'. It remained completely unchanged.”

Was there any hint regarding which "facts"?

Something to do with Scarecrow, iirc. I'll have to look back at it.

Yeah, the final shot could just be a shot Bruce at his parents' grave, finally letting the need to be Batman go.

I just dont understand why people want to be spoiled the ending, plus the he said she said with Rag, Rocketman, ect is pretty annoying.

Exactly the point I made a few pages ago. The ending doesn't have to be specific, as such, to TDKR.

I can see a possible Dick Grayson cameo, not sure about the Black Mask part. Not that I would mind that but I don't see where he would fit.
