A ME3 type ending for TDKR would be Bruce hanging up the cowl, and saying...I'm at peace the monster inside me is gone, and he goes off into the sunset with Selina all happy and lovey, while John Blake dons the cowl and watches over gotham. I'd even sue warner bros if i could. :funny:

Somehow this whole ending seems completely off... Nolan was nervous about adding Selina Kyle, and John Blake is a new character that's not part of the mythos, and certainly not a part of this trilogy until now. Seeing Bruce and Selina go off into the sunset is kinda weird for both characters, not to say a completely new Batman wannabe character watch over Gotham as a masked vigilante doing illegal stuff, when he can still do that as a cop (which he is), completely legally.

Yeah, that ending would definitely be a ME3 type of ending...

Wasn't it Rocketman who told us all spoilers about the prologue that turned out to be bullcrap?

Bruce will settle down in Italy with Alfred. I rather take that than sunset riding with Selina. :)

Eh... the resemblance mostly lies in the character doing something you wouldn't expect, sort of giving up their fight, but I think otherwise it couldn't be as bad because it wouldn't have the whole faulty logic to it. It would just be untrue to what we think of Bruce Wayne's character, which in truth is one's own opinion/interpretation, many will differ.

Nolan's characters never get the girl at the end. :funny:

So what will happen of Catwoman?

I'm thinking the final shot of her will be blowing up the barricade and riding off down the tunnel.

Yeah, that's probably her last scene. Maybe.

Has Rag actually said that this is how it ends?
I remember him saying that he just read the ending in one of the guesses on that particular page and the Selina/Bruce thing was on the page,
But has Rag Specifically said that is how it ends?
Not disputing it, just wondering if he was quoted as laying it out specifically like that .

Hmm... *thinks of all of Nolan's films* Well I'll be, you're right :wow::csad:

Of course it'll end on a happy note. No-one really believes that Nolan would end Bruce's 3 film story arc in any other way do they?

I am confident that Anne's Selina will be the shining performance in this film, so any worry about her has gone for me a long time ago.

Sure I do. Anything's possible, especially with Nolan.

As always, Rag made a number of comments, then added the usual 'get-out' clause at the end.

I think anything is possible in terms of how it could end, but I find it hard to believe he would end such a trilogy in anything other than a positive way for Bruce.

You guys are mistaken. Most of this leads back to Bosef, not Rag. Rag mererly compared and traded some info with the two which apparently checked out. He knows nothing about the ending and has made a concerted effort to make sure his own sources don't spoil that for him, Rocketman more or less brought up his name as a crutch.

Was the Goyer/Nolan moment when they both came up with the "Final shot of the trilogy" 4 years ago before or after Catwoman was brought into it?

Century City Mall right ?
How recent is the display?

Did bosef explicitly tell us the ending, or was it more of a "make ur assumptions on my implications" type of thing. Because i trust bosef, but if the ending is so protected, I can't help but imagine he's been given false info.

Same with Rocketman, i don't blame him for getting the prologue info wrong, it was just stuff that was given to him, and i just think that maybe it's the same situation of being fed bogus stuff.

Let's not forget that whole [BLACKOUT]Blake gets shot in the head departed style[/BLACKOUT] rumour.

As far as my knowledge goes, Rag talked with Bosef, Rocketman talked with Rag, and some of Rocketman's stuff matched up with what Bosef told Rag (and his info is more or less already publicly availible if you look back at his posts and very similar to Rocketmans, only typically Rocketman's stuff is bloated and more outward.). What we're lacking here, if it's not misinformation to begin with, is context. I don't think this should be a reason to slag anyone off, people have been told what they've been told like Sharkboy said.

Im putting my money on John Blake biting the dust

we'll care about him, love his heroics as the cop who doesn't give up...

but in the end, he will be dead. Maybe even causing Batman to rally big.

just my 2 cents.

I was only asking because I didnt think that he had laid out specifics.
And I see the Bruce/Selina Thing attributed to Rags a lot .

It's a case of "Don't shoot the messenger" really, nobody's trying to mislead anyone on purpose.
