I'd be appalled if the crumbling buildings were in the film. Hell, I already am that it's been reused since the teaser in marketing. It looks so CGI and out of place with the rest of the film's Gotham, it would be distracting. They never reused TDK's animated teaser so I don't know why they insist shoving that one in our faces.

I've always thought that shot of Batman on the bridge was the night before the battle, you can see the dawn coming on the horizon. If that's the case, I think it'd be one of the most powerful moments in this trilogy, especially remembering Harvey's quote : "The night is darkest just before the dawn, but the dawn is coming."

 I really like this idea. Ive always felt like there would be a reference to that quote. I wouldn't even be surprised if we hear that line again.

The crumbling buildings will not be in the final film I think. We'll have the cracking ice Bat logo before the prologue.

I am not sure if this has been mentioned here yet or not, but if you go to the dew site you can read three pages of the gotham observer (at the convienance store location). Also, one of the ads leads you to rykindata.com (which may have a hand in what Bane is planning).

Let me know if this has been posted.

See! Something like this I would absolutely LOVE! It's nice subtle homages that rounds back to the 2'nd film (remembering as set 8 years earlier). Homages will also be present all the way back to the first film. The "why do we fall?" question, will no doubt come up ones again. It musn't feel forced, but if any one can make it work, it's team Nolan!

I'm not in any way one for comparing Raimi's spidey franchise to Nolans bat-franchise. But Raimi also missed major opportunities in SM3, to round things all the way back to spidey 1, in a nice way. For starters. When Peter is wearing the black suit, feeling high on power and being cocky (even though he's in all truth actually just misserable inside). It would have been such a clever and badass reminder to tie things up with the first movie, if black spidey was, for example, swinging at night, and through a voice-over we hear Willem Dafoe's Goblin say, "In spite of everything you've done for them, eventually they WILL hate you - why bother?".

I'm sure, Nolan will make for an orgasmic slice of heaven through the ways of him tying the three films together!

I like how these logos at the beginning of each film kinda reflect what's happening in the story - the swarm of bats, Bruce's biggest fear, which appear several times throughout the film; the explosion, chaos; the ice cracking, breaking the Bat logo.

On another note, I suppose Bane's favorite TV show is "Breaking Bat". :funny:

Well the interview that David Goyer had said that the ending is very emotinal so I would believe the closing scene will be more emotinal than batman beating bane and then standing over Gotham.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of those logos.

The horoscopes are also amusing...

You know, I was joking about that, but I won't be shocked if the crumbling buildings are actually the last shot of the film :wow:

The joke i think it was Wally who made it, about just completely blowing Gotham up, the thought of that not being a joke scares me.

That would be awful. Sorry, but it just doesn't have anywhere near the polish to be the ending sequence, and even then there's a difference between what BB/TDK did where their animated sequences only lasted a couple seconds and that long crumbling building one. It's very apparent that it's not part of the movie because it's like a videogame cutscene.

nice, yes they are! nice little read and yeah rykindata.com could lead to Bane or a viral? and nice info about the burglaries aka (Ms. Kyle)!

This could be possible. Wasn't it said that the ending contained lots of CGI?

It might not be the last shot, but I think crumbing buildings will be present at the end of the film.

Hmm yes. I have given the placement of this scene some more thought and I agree. The bridge would be destroyed in the middle and thus no traffic on it, with Batman alone up there overlooking the task in front of him. Batman doesn't need a reason to pose but this would be one.

Looks more like some kind of insect with wings to me when it's upsidedown.

To that I say "MIND NOT BLOWN"

Yeah thats how I was about it, everyone is trying to find a reason to put Robin in the movie. I did see a article though that said Cilian Murphy is being sneaky about him being in the movie as Dr. Crane.
