Wait wait, the news came about around the same time as the posters so i think it got buried.... apparently there's a sneak peak of TDKR during falling skies? Is this confirmed? Would it be like that 7 minute sneak peak during the smallville season finale for batman begins?

I doubt we'll get more than 30 seconds. When does falling skies come on?

Got my tickets for the Marathon on the 19th. It's officially gonna be Batman day.

Yes, I agree,it was perfect that way. But I'd like to read what it says about his incarceration and what other crimes are suspected. It may kinda fill the gap between TDK and TDKR.

And regarding the Imax poster, I think it's a cool concept, but executed in a bad way. I wonder why Wb is using the same pic for every single poster/banner.
It's a great pic, but seriously, why cant they use some other ones?

Or how about get an artist who can just render a Batman that's suited to the setting/angles of the posters?

The ones for Dark Knight were all done quite well...these look like they were rushed by people just fooling on p-shop.

Oh sweet mercy, that brings back memories.

Feels so long ago...:csad:

I'll ask you the same question the devil asked Luke Skywalker in Robot Chicken-

Would you give up your soul to hell for one night with her?

Probably not. She may have food poisoning that night or something. If it were a guaranteed week of mind-blowing naughty-business I'd give it serious thought though. :o

And welcome to the Hype! :hehe:

I know right? first time i heard Zimmers score and it was during the fight on the ice, i had shivers all over.

It would be extremely ****** if Joker turned out to be an ex-soldier as described in that article.

I doubt Joker will turn out to be anything. All that info is just the GCPD's speculation and will remain such.

TDK posters were (most of them) pretty good, imo. The worl without rules one is my favourite.

You only have to watch the gif on last page to see how lazy they've been this time.
It's truly sad to see they dont even care if the perspective/angle of the main character is off.
I remember reading that WB was treating this film as if it was the greatest one ever. Probably the marketing dpt. didn't hear that :whatever:

There are no words for this unspeakable travesty of photoshop. What in the fiery hell is going on here? haha

Damn those were such excellent moments.

I remember when I first sat down in that theater and all it took for me was that first Flap-sound effect in Vespertilio-Opening logos sequence to assure me I was in for a ride I would never forget. I literally got chills when I saw that swarm of Bats creating the Bat Symbol. Man, oh man.

Jesus Rollerblading Christ, this movie needs to come out now :woot:

Oh yeah as much as i prefer TDK to BB, nothing beats (and nothing probably will) that first time i saw BB in the cinema, I don't think i was prepared for that even though i followed the production extensively on here.

:hrt:

Can't wait to see them both on the big screen again in 13 days.

I mildly remember seeing BB in theaters (I was 8 years old then mind you :p) but that film was able to reignite my love for Batman with ease.

I remember being all giddy when I saw the Joker card at the end.

Me too, I saw TDK a good 8 times in the cinema, but BB only once. I've purposely held off on watching BB this year too, so should be a great experience.

I got really excited when I saw the Joker card. I went into the movie without any info except the trailer. It really caught me off guard.

I saw TDK twice and BB once, but it's been 4 and 7 years respectively, so it should be great.

I hadn't seen a Batman film since the sequel to Tim Burton's (wasn't the least bit interested in Val or George as Batman), but it reignited my love for Batman (at least on film) as well. I was unsure, but my dad and I decided to see it one night, and we were both blown away.

I still prefer BB to TDK just because of the whole experience.

The poster defiantly has a symbolic representation of Gotham in ashes it's rightful protector rises and returns to save his city.

I like the poster but I was expecting more from the final poster.

Wow. You were 8? I thought I was among the younger crowd here!
