I don't think she's crying but that's just me. :p

I'm holding out that
the fact the toy Bat has an ejection seat, may keep hope alive that he escapes in time.

I hope you are right.
As others have speculated, maybe Batman 'dies,' however Bruce Wayne lives.

yeah it is look at the lighting on the left side of the frame (the direction the Bat will fly off in) in the spy video and Gordon going over to talk to Batman in the Bat after he talks to Selina. Same scene.

So I'm watching the 13-minute preview for TDKR:

Looks like there's green fluid in the lazarus pit:

There's also a few stills from the bat cave :) and "The bat" is stationed in the cave.

where can i watch this, Sir?

Well whatever the ending is, I'm looking forward to the music that plays while it does and then have it cut to black when THE DARK KNIGHT RISES comes on the screen and "A Watchful Protector" kicks in...

The JGL rumor floating around that everyone is up in arms about has to be fake - if it wasn't, it would certainly be something near the end of the film, and I think that would keep in fresh in peoples minds that have just seen it and have been dropping hints to us.

Seeing as we havent heard a single negative thing about the ending so far, I doubt that we're going to get something that blatantly corny at the very end of any type of film being labeled as a 'masterpiece'. At the very least we would have heard mention of something 'not so great' near the very end, or something 'corny'.

I also think the ejector seat 'spoiler' that we got months ago from the toy previews will prove to be a factor in the ending as well, just as posters above me have hypothesized.

and ya, i really think he does "eject" off screen, it's in the toy for a reason.

Agreed - knowing everything we do about the supposed ending where he flies off with the reactor attached to the Bat, I have a feeling that the toy preview may turn out to be one of the biggest inadvertent spoilers we've gotten thus far.

Hmm..I suppose, in the context of the Nolanverse, I could live with that.

The only hole in the Bruce Wayne living but Batman dying theory is that prevents Batman from revealing his identity. Although I suppose if the only people who know are Gorden, JGL, Fox, Alfred, and Selina (assuming Bane and Tate die) then it could work, and I'd love it.

Maybe an ending that doesnt visually show you Bruce is still alive, but something more along the lines of

that ending that was posted elsewhere saying that Bruce leaves the arrowhead on a grave.

If Batman faked his death, and the city thought he was dead, isn't that just starting over on another lie? lol

Nobody knows what the ending is. Let's keep it that way.

Haha, so when we don't want the toy's significance to mean something (i.e the Batman Beyond looking figure) it's just another toy, yet when we do want the toy's significance to mean something (i.e. the ejector's seat in The Bat) it's there for a reason. :D :up :oldrazz:

I'm not even talking about the toy haha. I'm referring to the idea of Batman faking his death for the city. Wouldn't that be kinda dumb, with the film using the the lies of Harvey Dent to suggest you can't rebuild a city on a lie?

Hahahah yeah good point!

To me, the difference is that this type of lie doesnt really hurt anyone.

I don't think the lie about Dent hurt anyone either. But it was still a lie, and the film makes the point you can't build something on a lie. Therefore, I can't see Batman dying and Bruce living [at least in that particular senario].

But what would they be building if Batman dies (true or not)? Dent's lie comes down to a good guy gone wrong. Batman dying would be only about inspiring others to do what is necessary.

My post was in reference to the discussion that was on-going before your post was made, mate. :cwink:
