Can someone give me a brief rundown of what the heck is going on in the new photographed scenes? Is Bruce under arrest? What is that book he is holding?

Sorry, I missed the excitement in a different time zone.

Arrest didn't seem like what was happening but rather escorting.

the only clues to this are: His lambo was being towed by a collection agency.

also it seems that Bruce was locked out of Wayne Manor.

My guess: Bane attacks the Gotham Stock Exchange and plummets Gotham into a depression and every wealthy person in Gotham suffers loss

I wonder if this happens before or after that scene of Bruce coming back after being gone for a while (Bruce driving the Lambo, walking with a cane and a limp and the press hounding him on where he's been).

Ok, thanks! Not sure I like the idea of a Gotham depression though, especially in the current economic climate. People go to the movies to escape that, not be hit over the head with it...

Was the current real depression ushered by sexy Tom Hardy in Bane gear? That's escapism enough.

So it is as we were speculating in that early clip with Selina, where Bruce was knocking on the door of the Wayne Manor - if he truly was locked out of Wayne Manor, that would make sense.

Indeed, pieces are, seemingly, coming together

I'm still puzzled as to why he would be locked out. :funny: Why wouldn't he know if the Wayne Manor was claimed or something?

Perhaps they do the seizing while he's at work, he didn't appear to know the Lambo was propped up on a collection truck when he came out.

Maybe. But Alfred should've at least warned him? Unless Alfred's MIA but that's another completely different topic altogether. Or shouldn't there be a notice at the door? Something still missing from all of this... Something we probably won't know until the movie comes out.

Regardless, Bruce might seem to lose all his wealth at some part of the movie but I doubt that the movie will end with that actually happening.

Sort of like Oedipus. He's got to lose everything in order to realize the truth.

I guess still on Wall and Nassau. Closest you can get is beaver and broad.

Don't know what exactly they're shooting but 2 pa's said the batwing would be involved

one said the batmobile...

Oh damn!

Big time snowfall in the New York and East Coast areas this weekend!

Let's hope Nolan, Pfister and the crew do some filming during the REAL snowfall in New York and New Jersey!

Yes! This is what I was hoping for when I first heard they were scheduled to film in New York during the back end of the shoot during the fall/winter!

Yeah, baby, yeah! :batty:

As it should be.

I guess midway through Alfred gets repo'd with the Manor and Lambo?

Gee wiz, Bruce/Batman has a lot of rising to do in this film!

Absolutely. Like what I said in the other thread, the things that Bruce will go through/will do in this movie are amazing for his characterization - grieving, injured, gone for a while, escorted/interrogated by the GCPD, possibly imprisoned, WE presumably under attack, (maybe) falling in love, resuming his father's philantrophic efforts, etc.

Could be I guess...but I can't imagine a billionaire suddenly being out of money to the point to where he actually owes money. Wayne Manor has been in the family for a few generations so I doubt they have a mortgage or anything. I would imagine he owns the Lambo as well...but I guess he could lease those. Idk...interesting though nonetheless.

Hmmm... What if the Lambo was taken as part of an evidence for something? Weren't they shooting some alley action scene that involves the Lambo in LA? So maybe Bruce got himself in the middle of something and he's wanted for questioning and the GCPD needs the Lambo as an evidence?

Jeez. I better check Cincinnati's weather forecast for the week. I think it'd be kinda cool if it snowed on Halloween. I don't think I've ever seen that.

I like where you're going with that...let's not forget...that could have very well been Bale in a cell doing pushups in the teaser (I'm 99.9% sure). Perhaps he gets thrown in the clink for something.
