The official plot synopsis has been sent to these guys: http://movies.cosmicbooknews.com/content/dark-knight-rises-2012-exclusive-official-synopsis-revealed

They dont know wheather its real or not though. But it sounds kinda legit. It also sounds like anyone could have come up with that based on what we already know so...

Every hero has a journey. Every journey has an end. Christopher Nolan returns to complete the epic Gotham trilogy that launched with Batman Begins and reached the stratosphere with the billion-dollar blockbuster The Dark Knight.

Batman is now hunted by the law led by his friend Commisioner Gordon for taking the blame of Harvey Dent's murders and protecting his reputation. He must quickly deal with the arrival of new villain Bane who is bent on the destruction and chaos of Gotham City, face old wounds and get a handle on the enigmatic Selina Kyle before his city is lost for good.

Oscar Winner Christian Bale reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman for the third time along with stars Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commisioner Gordon and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox. Inception stars Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt join the cast as Wayne Enterprise board member Miranda Tate and Gotham Cop John Blake. Rounding out the cast are Anne Hathaway as the sleek Selina Kyle and Tom Hardy as the powerful villain Bane.

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Legendary Pictures, a Syncopy Production, a Christopher Nolan film, "The Dark Knight Rises." Nolan directed the film from a screenplay written by Jonathan Nolan and Christopher Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. Charles Roven, Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan are the producers, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull serving as executive producers. "The Dark Knight Rises" is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.
Wow... that tells us nothing. Shocker.

The punctuation and grammar is all over the place.

If it was a fanboy though would they be able to resist putting in more information. If it was a fanboy then it's almost not worth it. But from the point of view of Warners giving a general outline for Johnny Public then it makes sense. Hence why the vagueness gives it a little credibility.
Ah, that is true, that is true.

Wow... that tells us nothing. Shocker.

The TDK one was like: Batman, Gordon and Dent lead a successful war on crime untill Jokers ****s it all up.
Vague but it still gave us the entire story.

To make one sentance out of this would be like: Batman has to deal with both being hunted by the law and protecting Gotham from being usurped by chaos and at the same time bringin down a sleak thief.

Now when I write it like that it doesnt really seam real. A real synopsis (like the tdk one) should be able to transform into a single sentence easily, this one doesnt.

Yeah, that Synopsis sounds a bit fake. It focuses more on TDK events than TDKR

could this one be

"TDK has batman on the outside until he TOTALLY REDEEMS HIMSELF" that's why it's called rises

Hey, Camp Blood are you possibly going to go to Newark? or is that too far from where you're based?

Well, if it is legit, then they've officially misspelled commissioner.....

Ah ok.

I'm sure some Hyper(s) will go.

I wonder what they're filming there, the Tumblers are here but I haven't heard what they're going to be used for.

Two day shoot in Newark somewhat implies action but, it's too far and too cold for me to wake up at 4:30 am to get there.

That is not the official synopsis.

You'll know it's official when it's released on everywhere. Sites like SHH, /Film, IGN, Firstshowing, Collider, etc.

That synopsis is fake. It has numerous grammatical errors. Not that it's incorrect in it's vague description but it's not an official release by the studio.

i would go but i have to babysit my 2 nieces (3 and 1) today

That synopsis is trash. When are trolls going to learn how to spell and put together a proper sentence?

So do we have any confirmation that the TDKR trailer is with Sherlock Holmes 2? or is just rumours still?

Smart move by WB if so.

and yeah that Synopsis sounds fake, there's way too many gramatical and punctual errors for it to not be. Plus for a movie that synopsis is quite short.

Trailer 2 with Holmes is almost certainly going to happen. Wide release on Holmes is the same weekend as Mission: Impossible's IMAX launch. You get something TDKR-related that weekend no matter what you see.

Right. The conventional trailer will undoubtedly screen with Holmes (another WB property).

Drat, I'll have to choose between the trailer or prologue??? Dammit all.

You'll get to watch both. Just not in theaters unless you plan on seeing both Mission Impossible and SH2. If not, I'd say watch the prologue in theaters since that won't be released online and you can see the second trailer online shortly after.

Trailer's probably going to leak a couple days before Holmes comes out. I'd expect to see a bootleg of the trailer on the 13th or 14th of December.

How sad is it that I'm excited for a bootleg version of the trailer?

Did the TDK prologue not come online? I swear I remember seeing the bank robbery before seeing TDK at the cinema.

The prologue "descriptions" will no doubt reach a fever pitch soon. So I encourage everyone,

Who's the guy on the back? Is he being kidnapped?

Is Gordon-Levitt pointing his gun at the driver? (it looks a bit off to the side)

Why is he wearing a carpenter's apron? (it does look like that!!)

:awesome:
